Day 37, major defoliation

Hi AFN family, another week goes by and have had mixed growth this week.
I'll start with the two CWW, both of which aren't growing vertically much at all at 14" (35.5cm) and 17" (43cm), the smallest was a little deformed, I mean unique, from the start and the other is a little strange too, I grew this strain last time and everything was fine and there from the same seed pack too. They were both so bushy tho they needed really thinning out so we'll see.
Trainwreck is still going great guns and measured today at 36" (90cm) and I cut everything beneath either the fourth or fifth node, she has around a dozen branches and is now beginning to flower so will swap to bloom feed by the end of this week at the latest.
Wedding glue is also on the verge of flowering now and currently measures 19.5" (49cm), also cut everything beneath the fourth or fifth node but will give her another week min on alga grow feed to try and get her a little larger.
( The two CWW aren't close to flowering yet so will be on alga grow for another couple of weeks yet, hopefully they'll grow a little more before they flip)
Raised the light again so is still between 16-22" from the canopy. I've also turned up the lights from 50% - 65% power.
The extraction fan set up is currently running at about 35%.
Average temperature is now between 26.2-26.8c and 90rh.
All the girls had 150ml of water with 2ml per l of alga and 1ml per l of calmag, except trainwreck who had 1200ml.
See pics below and have a wonderful week guys and girls :bighug:

I think you would have been better off bottom pruning all the lower branches that didn't reach the canopy vs removing all those leaves.

Is your humidity actually at 90%?

Ill

I'll know for next time, but I've done it this way before and they've been right so I'll keep everything crossed. Yeah high humidity, was at 99, at 94 today :haha:, you're making me nervous

the defol might help drop the humidity a little, everything is looking very healthy at the moment. keep up the great work.
Now I like that kind of positive talk! Thanks mate, and the humidity is dropping slowly but they've had a good watering too so it'll take a couple of days and then I'll turn up the fan too :bighug:

That's high af. No way to get a dehumidifier?

I see some issues on the edges of your plants that could be due to the high humidity, so with them already under stress it doesn't sound conducive but if it works then more power to you lol.

How are you measuring humidity?

I've got a hygrometer on a bamboo pole at the same h

I've got a hygrometer at the same height as the canopy. If it's not down some more by tomorrow I'll turn up the fan unit, it's only on 35% power at the moment, I don't want it below 75-80% until the two CWW go into flower. I don't normally use a dehumidifier but it's not normally this high, just playing catch up from the heat wave :shooty:

What kind of hygrometer? I only ask because so many are inaccurate. Like an inkbird would work well to measure against the hygrometer using a boveda to see how in range they are.

I not of what you speak, ha ha. Seriously, haven't heard of those, mine literally displays temp and humidity, it's about two inches by one inch. I'm pretty sure of my reading tho, the humidity is down to 88% now so I'll check again in the morning and report back :pass:
