End of Week 5

Been smooth sailing as we shift into that pre-flower stretch. Both plants are doing a lot better in terms of their color. Still seeing burnt tips, but the chlorosis has abated altogether in newer growth. Both are starting to put out preflowers, and the aromas are noticeable. Very excited for the weeks to come.

Environment Updates

  • For the last week, averages are 76.1F & 61.1% RH.
  • Lowered my lights a bit, bringing each to around 485 ppfd.
  • Deactivated humidifier. Cucumber plants are keeping it plenty humid in there. I'll probably have to bring the dehumidifier in as we progress into flower
  • Removed heater -- warmth has not been an issue now that lights are on full blast.

Feeding/Amendments

Yesterday (Day 35) I gave them their pre-flower treatment which included:
  • Top dress (each plant)
    • 1/4 cup craft blend
    • 1/2" layer of build a flower
    • 1/4 cup insect frass
    • 2 tbsp grokashi
    • Barley straw mulch cover
  • Watered that into each plant with a half gallon (5% container volume) containing:
    • 3ml enzyme elixir
    • 1/2 tsp rootwise bio-phos
    • 1/4 tsp big 6 micros
    • 3ml yucca (thermx)
    • 1/2 tsp agisil
    • 1 tsp freeze dried coconut

Top watered all that in; and then replaced mulch covers. Then added 1 gallon to each plant's rez, as they are now emptying the rez in about 2 days.

Whiskey Zulu

Still doing some very minor defoliation on Whiskey, but have removed her plant ties altogether. She has taken to training very willingly and has sprawled out nicely.

Triks

Triks is definitely the bushier of the pair. I have defoliated her a bit more this week, removing mostly burn/dying leaves from early on -- but also a few up top. I'm still employing some LST on her in hopes of opening her up, but those stems are getting stiff, so I'll probably remove the ties altogether in the next couple days.

Man I was wrong. The one I showed was my blue sunset sherbert. This is one of my zulus and they smell like cherry. Go to my one thread I made I'm starting starting have problems. They're yellowing and I stunted them.
