I’ve decided to try a small tent grow. After going through my seed list (few years since I last grew) I’ve decided to go for Mephisto Sour Crack. So small tent, entry level light, Canna terra pro, old timer bloom, odd splash of cal mag. Undecided on whether to top or not, though some light training will happen. Unsure how fragrant this strain is but have a fan ‘n filter should I require it. Hopefully I’ll avoid getting in her way and I’ll have a no fuss grow. But from experience I know that’s pretty much hot no chance of happening!! Going to soak my seed tonight, and see what tomorrow brings.

Really not too tall. About 10 inches. But thick with vigorous growth. Once the stretch has stopped I’ll have a light defol to allow more light in deeper.

The girls just keep truckin’ on.:thumbsup:

Have u been checking your waters Ph levels for this grow m8 or just crackin on?? Tap water? Are you leaving it out to dechlorinate or just using str8 outta the tap? I'm amazed how long the soil has sustained these girls with just water.. seen a other grow yesterday with biobizz allmix.. which is also too hot for autos.. and the plants were flyin.. a few weeks in I think.. on just water.

Water from tap dechlorinated for 48 hours. I ph to 6.2/6.8. I was reading up on the soil and it says it should sustain plants for at least 2 weeks. Got my money’s worth there :biggrin:

Not even thought about cal/mag yet. Just trying to read the plants really. Plenty time to cock up left:crying:

Ive used all mix with good results . I think it's strain dependent too as with any plant . I had some tip burn first week after germ this run and am using light mix this time I got to about 28/30 days with just water and bio heaven Just started adding grow for the stretch . Soaking the medium 48 hrs b4 u drop a seed gets the bio to full speed pre plant that can have an effect too imo . You can all ways start in 1.5ltr pot of light mix and have a pot of all mix ready for final then you would probably be able to get a good few extra weeks

Never tried all mix but this Canna Terra pro plus is excellent. I always just plant in the final pot but sometimes use a seedling friendly soil in a solo cup. These two ladies were in the soil as soon as they showed a tail.

next time I’m going to do one plant in a bigger pot:cheers:

So......I’m really considering pulling the smaller girl. I’m concerned that my Viparspectra P600 (95w) can’t provide enough light for the two plants. Any thoughts??

Man you’re 45ish days in now and the plants are looking healthy and green.
pulling a plant is one of those crappy personal choices but I myself would pribs let them both grow at this point.
I see the pics of the plants in front of the window but are they growing in a tent or grow space with reflective walls?
