Part of my first ever grow, this plant has been a pleasure to grow. With a big surprise on week 10 showing how amateur I am
Following are pictures of her from seedling up to last Sunday which was the end of week 21.
I germinated in the soil directly, I didn't know about the thing where you should start autos in their final pot until later, so the church with other plants including autoflowers were started in this biobizz light-mix
Yes, over-watered at the start, I have a gift for that I am going to start using an injector or mister next grow.
She was doing ok on week 3 and I repotted into 18L pot with biobizz light mix, 16cms tall
all going well for a few weeks, still no nutrients given, I was trying to wait and see if I even need to give nutrients or if it is just an addition which I can do without. Here she is on week 6 70cms tall, she grow so tall and leaves were so big that stem couldn't carry her any more, I had to add support:
At this point, most other plants I had started flowering except for the Peach Puree CBD which is a photoperiod, but the site I checked the Church strain info on said it was an autoflower, thought it strange that is hasn't flowered yet and carried on. Started feeding her week 9 as some other plants needed nutrients which told me that nutrients are actually needed
When we got to week 10 and there was no sign of flowering, I decided to check the details of the strain, and lo ad behold it is not an autoflower, I could have trained and done stuff to her which I avoided because I was told I shouldn't train autoflower (myth, now I know). Ok, so, week 11, tall photoperiod standing at 145cms, I decided I can't have her grow to 3metres so I topped her so now she is at 110cms and did some lst to spread all those branches:
She grew some more and on week 17 started flowering:
Beautiful tall bushy girl.
Here she is on week 19:
There are too many leaves all over, so I thought I'd remove a few fan leaves here and there to get some more lights in. I shouldn't have had that edible before starting, I got too much into it and ended up removing way more than I intended:
But she took it really well and is growing beutiful buds even with this rubbish weather. Barely getting any sun at all... On cold nights I take inside to save her as I've already had bud rot on another plant I had outdoor.
The bottom branches are forming really nice buds:
But the top branches seem to think they are still vegging or very early flower:
I put this down to the fact that she is standing infront of a window and the top branches are getting some light when we turn on lights inside, so I moved her to not be infront of the window, hopefully she'll be able to produce something with those branches. Running out of time and getting really cold but I have a plan B, move her into garage under some LED pucks I have if needs be... for now, she spends the nights inside in the only covered area with a door wide enough to fit her standing at 210cms
Not sure what I can do to speed it up, someone suggested I build a tent out of cardboard and make sure she only gets 8 hours of light a day. That is not really an option is the cardboard won't last a week in this rain. So I'll just keep her as long as I can, the light pucks I have are currently being used so she'll have to wait until the other plant is ready before she can go indoors (or the parts of her that survive going through the door), maybe I'll harvest the bottom branches first. We will see, I will keep you posted.
Thanks for reading! I'll update this post in time.
