First time grower using a 4x4x6

Hey everyone! :welcome:This is my first stab at growing, so bare with me :woohoo1: . Tag along if you'd like! I will try my best to post weekly updates and answer any questions or any constructive feedback that comes my way!!

I'll give you a short run down.. I am 4 weeks in and things seem to be going great. I am running and 4x4x6 vivosun tent paired with a 1000w mars hydro full spectrum led light. Using 5gal fabric pots with 14" saucers to collect runoff. Also a humidifier to keep the rh up for veg. As for soil/ nutrients, I am using Fox farms Ocean Forest as well as the Fox Farms nutrients (grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom).

I will post pictures with a short description of what I'm doing or planning to do next. Again, this is my first grow so I am open to ANY feedback and glad to be apart of ATF:pighug:

Looking good, nice and compact. I'm a new indoor grower myself on first grow. You have a nice setup there. Also running FFOF with zero problems.
Thank you sir, I tried to make it as budget friendly as possible but still have quality products. Good luck to you on your first grow! Are you from Oklahoma by chance?

I removed some of the fan leafs covering bud sights. I didnt want to go overboard with it because I know how autos are with stess.. but should I do more? Or should I not even touch them next time?

Fan leaves shouldn't really ever be removed. They are like organs to the plant and removing them is stressful. They help transport nutrients and water throughout the plant. It doesn't matter how much light hits a bud site because they can't photosynthesize to do anything. What's important is keeping your plant healthy and happy, you want more yield a consistent environment and low stress training will do more for you than removing leaves will.

Defoliation is stoner myth that doesn't scientifically hold up. When you pull a bunch of leaves the plant hormones are affected and it can cause metabolic stress and regenerative growth, more veg like growth rather than flowering, when we want more generative, flowering, growth.
