whats up,
ive been breeding autos for a few years now just joined up on the afn .
my new project mixed shadow og from elev8 seeds with almost all of my previous work
started seeds today using need for seeds silver thio phosphate
next week ill start the ladys all autos

wild thai land race
alien otto elev8 seeds
critical nevils haze
lavender
shadow og for back cross
pure og
jackwreck
gorilla glue
mazar i sherif x gorilla glue
northeren lights
malana bomb
gorilla glue x auto tangie
mazar land race

some of these strains i have made some i bought some a freebie seeds
any thought concerns whatever

ill be using full Cutting Edge Solutions nute line
and growing in High Porosity from Growers Soil

heya @Hashistan Farms and :welcome: to afn! :toke: and well, i'm not exactly sure how to perceive this post, lol :shrug: i mean, if it'z jus for the sake of talkin about seedz ur breedin, that'z all fine & good, but if ur wantin to be a vendor for em, well, that'z a whole diff animal, lol, and involvez gettin vetted, which in turn involvez sponsorin free beanz for test growz, etc etc...and jus fer the record, any buyin/sellin/tradin of anything on site is against site rulez :redcross: all such talk is to be kept in private pm'z only...jus sayin & carry on plz... ;) ppp

Whats good dog? I'm starting a little breeding project myself and it involves an auto tangie from fast buds. how has this strain treated you?

run a little longer than advertised , i never had any problems with nutes but i use Cutting Edge Solutions . following manufacturer recommended application rate . tends to have a big central kola . if you lst the top you will definitely get more yeild from the whole plant average yeild for an auto. i didnt get any citrus phenos. everything i mixed it with turned out to have much better terp production the parent generation

Right on! I've gotten two phenos so far both are extremely citrusy tho. One has a fat main cola like you're describing but its bud structure is sort of fox taily so its kinda a pain to trim. I'm hoping to find some offspring with the citrus terps but more compact bud structure. Outdoors it was quick, nine weeks, but indoors its def gonna need more time.

fast budz considers it to be there largest yielding strain , your lucky to have found a citrus terp pheno definitely continue to select that do you ever fill out a punit square ? definitely helps organize you breeding project and helps reach a set goal faster. I'm currently growing fast budz gorilla glue x auto tangie and it looks dank

Nice! yes I am very familiar with punnett squares. Its super handy when crossing in photoperiod strains because we know the autoflowering trait is recessive, therefore the F1s will all be photos but 1/4 of the F2s will be autos. With traits like yield and terpene profiles I'd imagine they're less useful because these traits are probably controlled by a multitude of genes. Perhaps a specific terp like the suppper citrusy stuff the tangie puts off is monogenic...I'll try to keep an eye on that as my generations progress

Yeah for sure, half would be autos at that point. I popped all my auto beans tho so no where to go but forward haha my plan is to continuously mate my favorite sibs to stabilize traits...should be 99% homozygous by F7s aka stable AF :)

you could always store some pollen. i have done this successfully with tangie , this is the only way to backcross auto to original p1 genetics its a big help stabilizing pheno selection

Nice. Yeah I've thought about doing this and I hear ya, it really is the only real way to backcross with autos. How do you store it...do you use flour? My only concern is if i save pollen from an early generation, then it probably has a lot of segregating loci that will make for an array phenos in the offspring.

i cut the kola when i have about 10 or 15 % of flowers open and let it dry in an open ziplock then shake the piss out of it 70 micron gold bag out the pollen mix with flour 3 to 1 then put that in parchment paper in a jar full of rice and store in the freezer
