My f3 1976 Ashland OR.blueberry auto .

I’ve been growing cannabis and collecting pure genetics from around the world since 1990. I learned the craft in the Mecca of Eugene Oregon. I have been breeding cannabis since 2004. I have amassed one of the finest collections of pure strains in US hands. Many of my genetics came directly from Neville in Amsterdam in the 2000’s. He would open up preserved older genetics from cups and things he liked. Some of these genetics came from the 80s and some from the 70s , a phenomenal Ashland Oregon “ true “ blueberry of tiny yield but monster flavor and a purple thai( blueberry is purple Thai and afghan kush) My other genetics came from traveling to Morocco ,and the Hindu Kush mountain range and many regions .im mostky a indica guy but love South African sativas . . I’ve bred many of my old genetics and pure strains and have an interesting list. NOW , I have worked on an autoflower strain ( or two ) . I have had (Matsu Valley ) Alaskan “ ruderalis “ which is a semi autoflower seeds since 1997 which I obtained in Juneau AK. I worked these genetics with my blueberry male for a few generations and now am doing a grow of my f4 breeding for the first time here. If everything goes well I’ll offer testers for folks to try. I hope the seeds I selected will make the grade. I’ve got the breeding down , but I’ll say it’s been wild to go fro photoperiod to auto growing. The blueberry I’m growing here likes nothing and in just using regular ROOTS soil . I’ve put some seeds in 3 and 5 gallon pots and may go outdoors or under a budget LED red spec 480 watt v2 in a 5x5.
Outdoor Coukd be fun what do you think?
Here are some pics of my photoperiod purple Thai and Pakistani chitral .

Cheers glad to be here ! I’ve been watching you all have so much fun I thought I’d try to become a part of the autoflower world.
Seeds popped in two days in paper towels and placed into roots soil. A few look leggy under a T5 , I may harden them and veg outside, then flower indoors . I am guessing fro years of experience this strain should test at a flat out 20% . My blueberry male produces potent material .

Wow the 5 gallon tall pot can really help yield. However the Taller “ purple Thai “ pheno and the shorter “ afgani “ pheno on the right are really showing. The taller pheno has more stink at this point.
If your auto flowers don’t stink, , stop using chem fert and go organic or vegan.Rethink your soil.
mom feeding these VEGAMATRIX with every watering but it’s so light and vegan it appears so far to be GREATFor autos because it’s so light. We’ll see how it works in flower .
I make my own Vegan fert but though I would try some vegan fert severing can get
Canna Bio is my favorite store bought for flavor but we’ll see if Kyle kushmans VEGAMATRIX cuts it. I feenits great for light feeders so far
Thanks for supporting me all if you !! I can’t wait for you to all to start them ASAP and give some feedback .
On that vegamatrix do you use the whole lineup or just the main 3 part. Trying to find something to run the blueberry once they arrive. afraid my megacrop is gonna burn em. But would like feedback on your ppm feed next watering.

Absolutiley, I’m using everything since it was free!
my well water starts at 220 , it’s mostly limestone and does leave a film.but I have hundreds of gallons of fresh rainwater which is nomppm usually so I’ll run the rai water and give you a reading. They dont Look over ferted so
I’ll prob feed again tomorrow . I am following the the VEGAMATRIX 8 week I dica scheduke . Starting the bloom fert as soon as the pistils show ,( end of week3) What I’m experienting with is breaking the 8 week VEGAMATRIX Down to 4 weeks . For example week one flower feed week one in scheduke . Week 2 flowering feed week 4 , 3rd week feed week six and 4th feed the 8 scheduke and continue and FLUSH !!

Awesome thank you. I'm gonna look into them some more

Fresh rain water from yesterday day was 100 ppm.
Meter with ALL VEGAMTRIX product filling the week 2 of 8 week indica scheduke. I’m going to hit them lightly . ALWAYS GIVE WATER AFTER EVERY FEEFING. I’mpushibg them but vegan fert doesn’t burn like chem.

In photoperiod strains, before Ppm meters( they were there they just aren’t needed. ) we would raise the strength of the fert until 10% of the lead tips burn . That left me know I’m maxed and getting the most out of my fert.

I hope everyone knows that over feeding issues can be corrected quickly with a CLEAREX flush, it’s just sucros and glucose and there are many things you can substitute . But if you don’t have clearex just give your plant a flush of 5-10% strength of fert.
plain water does not flush in soil, there must be something in the flush to bind tongue fert and wash it away. Clear water is not a flush . Flush is as important as cure in most contrived situations

Lookin real good my friend. You and I have lots in common. I base my whole grow theory on givin em sunlight during the day and light alllllll night lol. Kind of a reverse light dep situation. Stoked to hopefully get to run some of your gear here real soon.

Interesting. Thanks my friend for following

Reverse light deep, Coukd you expand. :)

END OF WEEK 4
So everything is moving along. This 4 bunch of seeds is funny , you can see the taller purple Thai pheno on the left and the afghani influence on the right. The two middle plants have more fruity smell but the plant on the right is closer to what I’m looking for just smaller. My seeds usually are similiar , Bieber I’m excited to try the tall purple Thai pheno, it’s rare and it’s ove 24 inches at 4 weeks. I did defoliate to let more sun in so the plants look a little scrawny. I wanted to start letting in more light I to the canopy. I don’t love defoliating as much except for bottoms with photoperiods , but it is essential with strains this fast. I did give a vegan bloom this week. That’s not what most will recommend but I’m more concerned with the flavor then yield. Prob just cruise with light sugars.
( my soil contains blueberry compost) Thisnis am old school Oregon trick. It can leave soil acidic but if you have access to berry compost use it or get some blueberry or blackberry bushes !!!
That’s my next level grow tip.
peace !
Don

Yes here is a picture that Better explains. It is a wooden frame with 6mil greenhouse plastic covering it. During the day it is a regular greenhouse getting all this high altitude sun. Then at night I run 2000 watts mh/hps and because it gets so cold up here I heat it with a propane heater that gives me all the cO2 I could ever need. Also if you notice on the floor there is panda plastic that is rolled up on each side. At night I roll those up over a frame, so it encloses it and doesn’t let the light out and attract bugs n unwanted visitors. Basically giving it the best of both worlds natural sun and HID lights.

My main goal is to be able to sell an all inclusive setup like mine that is scaleable and can produce 1.5 to 2X what a photoperiod commercial operation can for about 25% to 50% of what it costs them now. This is my last run and I produced somewhere between 11-12 lbs in under 70 days in 84 square feet.

Awesome , yes just a small propane flame in a room BOOMS the co2. Wonderful set up Derek .Awesome for all houses for structures .great for sustainable earth ships .

So the sun comes only through the roof.? I don’t say that discouragingly, here the Sunnis so intense it’s best to only have sun for part of the day.

In that last picture of the large space it is actually the south facing wall and the roof that was clear. The panda plastic was just still up in that picture. I roll the panda plastic up at night to shield the light from bugs n stuff

So Like Dereki believe in using as much natural light as possible on a REGULAR schedule. I had the blueberrys out in the sunshine today on day 29. . The purple Thai pheno is throwing purple calyx and it about 30inches tall with a 14 inch node cluster that will be the cola. It’s always best to really adhere to the wet -dry cycle with my autos. I’m using ROOTS original and it could use a gallon or more perlite in the tall 5s.
You’ll notice the short blueberry pheno , although the taller purple pheno is ahead and will yield more , the branch structure and short stature is very intriguing to me because the afghan kush landrace in this strain throws Pygmy phenos that we’re coveted in guerilla days because of its yield despite of no stretch . Nice to see purple early and excited to see the purple Thai pheno , it rarely shows strong like this . This was a unique 4 seeds diversity wise. My genetics are a little more uniform then this but I like variety as well. Excited for the tall purple Thai pheno because it rarely shows like this. A true gem o fab the cannabis world purple Thai is a mold A0D8B74C-0736-4F21-B8CB-65232CE24899.jpegresistant that thrives in wet humid hot climates . My golden Thai is a high mountain strain and is suited for cold and wet climate. I wanted you all to know that I’m in the process of being vetted as a breeder here . The heavy duty pros here are growing 5 of my autos and 5 of my photoperiods and doing reviews and grow journals so look for them. It’s been a very warm welcome here .reach out anytime

END OF WEEK 5 TERPS SHOWING STRONG .
ok so it’s the end of week 5 . Of the 4 plants 2 and 3 have caught up to 1 height wise. 1 and 2 are showing color, the 3rd is a green pheno , that may change but my strain does include a green pheno,
Then 4 is the short squat outlier , well behind the others , it’s showing the afgani side of the cross.
SMELL , so number 1 the tall purple Thai pheno is exhibiting classic fresh berry smells , what I’m hunting is the “ “hot blueberry pie “ terp profile, not muffins, not ihop BB pa cake syrup I know those blueberry strains well, This #2 is frosting and the fathers taking. The terp profile lends well to smelling like hit blueberry pie when done , we will see
.#2. 2 is behind 1 growth wise but it is exhibiting a terp profile that is sweet sweet, sugar sweet like sensi seeds old Hindu Kush, with berry overtones. It shows the quality of the Afghani in the cross. Amazing, not classic blueberry profile but incredible. .
#3 green pheno. Tall but has an even stronger sweet terp profile that is reminiscent of cotton candy, like a super sweet Hindu Kush with berry undertones. I’m excited .
#4. The sort squat plant is going to take longer. While I’m semi comfortable saying #1 will be done in 8 weeks, 2 and 3 9 weeks but this one will take longer. It does t have any terp profile yet and is showing afghani profile , but I can see my Alaskan ruderalis in the flowers. I’m sure it will exhibit a fine terp profile once it’s farther along.
I CHASE ABD BREED FOR FLAVOR, TERP PROFILE AND SPIRIT aid the smoke. Yield is just gravy. I’m super excited for the flavor of three of these and excited to see if the slower shorter pheno
Can bring it too. After 5 weeks the TERPS are really showing their heirloom lines.
If I haven’t gotten back to you I’ll be responding to all emails by tomorrow .
I wish you could photo TERPS!!!

Number 1 , classic blueberry terp profile and sugaring you end of week 5. Chugging water . So much vigor
