This plant has gone crazy!
Since my last update Auto gorilla OG has completely taken over my 3'x3'x5'4'' tent. I couldn't be happier with the results. Because I feel that I have finally dialed in my skills and found a technique that works for me, I decided to purchase two more 3500k cobs from @cobshop.net. I also purchased a new 5'x5'x6'8'' inch tent because I need the space. I will use my small tent to start seedlings while flowering in the other to harvest more often. I chose not to defoliate this plant because I plan to defoliate the next run so that I can compare and contrast bud quality and results. I've heard mixed reviews of both ways, I figure why not see for myself. My tent will be here on Saturday, hopefully my lights will arrive soon. This plant has gone crazy under 2 cobs, I wonder what she will do under 4.

Auto Gorilla continues to exceed my expectations. I did not consider that this plant is sitting under 2 auto cobs and doesn't have any other plants to compete with. she is quickly getting out of control. There is now more space to train her. I don't know what to do.
the only solution I can think of to optimize on the full potential of this awesome pheno is to give her more light and more space. I will have to spring for more cobs and a bigger tent soon. I've never had my shit dialed in to the point where the plant growing to big was a problem. Guess it's time to upgrade.

I made some changes and have a few significant details to note, so I figured it would be a good time to update my journal. I think that I may continue to do weekly updates on Sunday going forward unless something significant happens.
I noticed a little clawing on Friday as well as leaf edges curling up just slightly. I believe that there could be a few issues going on. 1. Too much Nitrogen, 2. Lights too close, 3. low humidity, 4. Algae growing on the outside of the smart pots.
1.To rectify the clawing situation, I changed out my reservoir because I was afraid of nutrient burn, developing nitrogen toxicity or a potential nutrient lock out. I added a lower amount of the base nutrients, but added liquid Kool bloom to the res. At day 30, Auto Gorilla is showing some signs of flowering so I figure it can't hurt to increase to P and k while simultaneously lowering nitrogen slightly. Seems like perfect timing.
2. I moved the lights slightly away from the plants to reduce the intensity a bit.
3. I increased the RH is the tent to about 50 %.
4. I have no solution for the algae. I have red that anything that gets rid of it can hurt the plants. I don't think it's causing any harm. Plants seem happy. I've increased the airflow on the pots themselves.
Slight tacoing has since gone away and leaf curling has subsided.
Killer Kush F1 is still looking stunted, but she is really thick and starting to stretch a bit. I think I will finish her because she has a ton of character. Maybe she will finish out with really thick colas. We shall see.
I defoliated auto Gorilla OG and adjusted my pipe cleaners to continue low stress training Auto Gorilla OG. She is taking to it very well. The bud sights on the bottom have become larger than the top bud sights. I think the canopy will be nice and even.

Nutrients- 1 tsp of recharge for both plants ph'd down to 5.57. After 6 hours of dark plants received first feed of new reservoir. 2.5 ml of silica, 6.5 ml of part A & B, 1 ml of rapid start per gallon, ph 5.52.
Seeing decent growth from both plants. Auto Gorilla has taken to LST really well. Bud sights are all even and at about the same height. Both plants have also been tolerating the nutrients well.
I am noticing weird behavior from the Killer Kush. She is extremely squatted. She hasn't shown any signs of light stress, or overfeeding. She has really good color and huge fan leaves but she isn't developing tops very well. I've tried to low stress train her but the tops that she is producing have practically no stretch. I'm not sure what to do with her. Since she's a photo I don't know if she will be worth the extra two months it will take to finish her.
Bad pheno maybe???

I set it to 55RH and it turns off while my temp and RH monitor says the humidity is 35RH. I turn it up to 65, go back into my tent an hour later and the RH is at 73. I will need to find another way to dial the RH in.
Reservoir PH- Increased from 5.52 to 5.89- No longer using distilled water. PH is still rising after a day or so but stays stable after 3 days. Not sure why this is happening, but I PH down when My PH gets close to 6.3.
Reservoir current temp. 68 degrees.
I did a little bit of LST on the Gorilla OG. I I plan to top the Killer Kush in a day or so.
Third week feed. I believe these plants are a bit on the small side. Because this is my first coco grow, I have been feeding really lite. This grow is an experiment so that I can dial in these nutes to see how the plants respond. long story short, I'm increasing my feed amounts a tad. Fingers Crossed!
Tonight I will be feeding these plants a tsp of RG Recharge in 5.6 PH'd down water. In the morning they will receive the following from the reservoir:
2ml of Armor Si, 6.5ml of Part A and B, 2.5ml of rapid start - per gallon- 651 ppm 5.7 ph.
