Here's a Whamband x Purple Canyon I planted a couple of weeks ago. She's been living outside and I'll let her finish out there. But I'm going to start bringing her inside at night until it warms up some more. Her leaves are really weathered but she's otherwise quite healthy. I'm expecting a large mid-September harvest and will take some clones before the end of the month.
I had flipped the pollinated moms back to veg with seeds still growing. I pulled a brown seed off a plant and stuck it in a pot to see if it was viable. Then I forgot which mom it came from. It's either Whamband x Purple Canyon or Whamband x Doug's Varin. I'll know which one soon - I think it's Purple Canyon. I'm calling it Whamband x Mystery for now.
One strain out there is 60% purple leaves because of the cold nights. But this plant with its hybrid vigor is doing quite well! It makes me lean towards Purple Canyon.
