2 weeks before harvest

Hey guys!! Me again :toke: just had a few questions for y'all. I know since I'm so close to harvest, it's pointless to correct them but I just would like to know what you guys thing I should do less of/more of next round, seeing what I just planted 6 more in my veg tent. I always ph at 6.5 and my PM is around the 800 mark, give or take.

-Did I add too much cal/mag or not enough? I noticed the burnt tips and leaf discoloration, and imo it's a calmag or Nitrogen deficiency. (Am I wrong?) I only added 5ml per gal, per feeding.

-What is the optimal temps/rh during bloom?

- Im watering 1 gallon for 4 plants evenly (2 days in between waterings), is that sufficient? I noticed fungus gnats a few weeks ago, so I slowed down how frequent I water and they have seemed to go away.

-On my second crop, when should I start adding nutes? I added nutes around 3 weeks in on my first crop.

-Roughly 2 weeks left until chop?

I will attach some pics to help see you see what I see. Ppp :smoking:20200112_193758.jpg20200112_193820.jpg20200112_195624.jpg20200112_194629.jpg

What's your setup? Might be able to help more.

Of course! I have a entire saying "first harvest in a 4x4 tent", that gives all the details and pics. But for a quick run down, 4x4 tent, 1000w 192reflector mars hydro light (both switches on), 5gal fabric pots, FFOF as the soil, watering 1gal per 4 plants every 2 days (1 quart per plant, with minimal runoff), always ph'd at 6.5, ppm ranting from 700-1200, the last few feedings have been around 700-800 trying to cut back a little on nutes. Temps 75-81 (trying my best lol) and rh is 45-52% right now during flower. Using FF nutes, with mammoth p.

Also, terrible news. Notices thrips yesterday in the soil (nothing terrible, but I did notice about 5 by the main root on 2 plants).. seeing that I'm 2 weeks away, so I just continue to flush? I'm only really worried about the 6 plants, 1 week in, next to it in a separate veg tent.
I did a 1/4 hydrogen peroxide/water mix and soaked the soil hoping that will help. Any other steps to get rid of them/helping prevent them getting into my veg then?

Thanks for the reply!! :smoking:

On a quick look, it seems like too much N. That could be a little nute burn at the tips, and they are a rather dark green with some clawing. Saying that, you do have some nice looking plants there & at 2 weeks out you will probably be reducing the nutes anyway.

Personally I think you have a bit more than 2 weeks before chop, as the buds are still looking pristine. If you can hold off longer, then I would.

As for the thrips, at 2 weeks out I wouldn't worry. So late in flower, you'll only screw your plants. They do hide out in soil & leaves, so you'll need to keep an eye on any remaining plants, to ensure they have not spread.

Appreciate the reply!!

What's the best way to stay on top of the N? I'm assuming too much N?. My #2 crop I topped with happy frog, so I hope that helps with the hot soil.

I was wrong, i am now I'm rougly 2.5 weeks away from harvest lol, when I made the post I was 1 week behind. (3 weeks away from chop)

I added some AzaMax at 1.6% water, to help with the thips, and I've coated (foliar) the veg plants/soil for precautionary measures. Trying to stay on top of them.

I added a couple pics from my most recent watering. Trips seemed to have calmed down, but not completely gone. 20200115_172600.jpg20200115_172933.jpg20200115_172851.jpg20200115_172933.jpg

Yea you have way more then 2 weeks to go, dont go by days or weeks go the the tricome colors. Also watering that way is not ideal you should water when the pots are lite or dry past ur first knuckle and then water each plant until u see some run off.
