12/27/21 - New no-till containers

What size is that tent?
Im am also curios ??
how TWO pots that large of size will do in that size tent space?
wondering if you will scrog or just train/trim ? Some of all of that maybe (haha)?

2x4 tent

not sure how it’ll go with training. Was planning to top both plants, but the CC showed pre flowers early. I am likely going to let them go naturally and maybe bend down the main cola as needed.

…so right after typing that I decided to top the Canna Cheese (day 21, 5th node). It doesn’t seem to be liking the nitrogen rich soil too much, but I topped it anyway since it’s likely going to be much taller than the Toof Decay (day 13). Hope it doesn’t stunt but we shall see!

Man, those are beautiful pictures - the pot looks great and the plant looks fine. Bet you'll see some really explosive growth in the next week.

2x4 is near what i thought. my ‘Lab’ is 27x27x60. I have a 5gal fabric grow currently…. and maybe it’s cultivar spec.. but she is filling most of the space…makes me wonder how tight a dual set up may be in my rig. Though i have not defoliated cause i just wanna see this first one grow out.

my other and should be last question is what light u have in that 2x4?

My ’Lab’ came with an SF1000 that has been pretty much perfect so far.. after some dialing in ofc… Whats that phrase about Rome now?

Sounds like the one plant is perfect for your space! I think light defoliation is key if you’re letting it grow out naturally as lower bud sites tend to get blocked that way. Probably don’t need to remove much if you’re on top of leaf tucking.

I am using a light very similar to SF2000. I believe it’s good enough for my space since my last grow showed signs of light burn at 24” and 100% power. Currently at 80% power and 24” for this grow.

this is my second ever grow. lots of research but very little experience so take everything I say with a grain of salt…

Lol, i keep my “internet-salt-grains” handy whilst on forums..and overall in general, but this has to be the exception in a lot of cases: AFN is so welcoming and helpful and quite the opposite of A LOT for forums and web spaces filled with trolls and other repulsive fodder…

Battling fungus gnats probably due to overwatering. Let the pots dry out for 4 days before watering yesterday but that didn’t seem to be long enough. Seems unusually long to go without, but will give ‘em 5 days before next watering to see if it helps.

What’s really stumping me is that I applied sf nematodes and hypoaspis mites two weeks ago which should’ve kept the gnats in check but no luck.

CC is also starting to show spots starting from the lowest leaves. Water PH always in the 6.2-6.7 range, so I don’t think it’s lockout. No sign of any pests on the leaves, so it may be related to root issues from overwatering.
