Lighting Your T5 Yields

Hey all!

I wanna see what you T5 growers are getting for yields per plant on average. It's hard to sift through the threads when "T5" is too short a search term.

So, post 'em up here!

Not sure on my average, but some of my trophies ranged from 6-9 oz. Those was from Mi5 and Onyx. Usually nothing less then 2 oz per plant thou. Bad Boy T5's all the way!

Usually 1 oz. for sure and my best has been 2 oz.-harvesting 5 strains in the next 2 days,will see what the average is.

I would post with pics but I can't.. Site wont let me put a hypertext site link. But I get 15-30 grams per shortstuff auto #1 and thats right were the breeder say this strain should be... Main light is a 424watt T5. And I love it.

About to be joining the t-5 club! We have a badboy 6 bulb. We are just waiting on bulbs, we are waiting on the third set because the first two packages came broken. The plants that we will be growing are duurty dragons and are currently under led awaiting their badboy lights! Can't wait

My bad boy bulbs finally came and then we find out the bad boy fixture is faulty! All 6 lights come on, but there is a buzzing sound and them 2 lights go out and won't ever come back on until the fixture is restarted. So I assume there is a short somewhere so now it's back on the phone

I have a tent with a 4 bulb T-5 unit I bought from Home Depot. I have seen no difference between the performance of the grows under T-5's versus my the ones under my 600wHID... none.

I fell in love with a t5 unit at a grow shop. They had a 8 bulb unit growing peppers - several different kinds. I couldn't help but notice how the plants themselves seemed to be glowing with light. I asked one of those salesmen -- the one that gives all kinds of advice and knows exactly why you are asking. Also happens to be the guy that sets up and maintains several grows in the huge grow store. So anyways I asked him about the light. He said once he tried one at home that his MH light has been sitting on the floor ever since. I asked him if changing the bulbs out for flowering was a pain in the ass.. He replied, I don't need to change out anything for flowering.. That bastard is doing autos! To bad I couldn't just ask him straight out.

But ya, ever since I got my t5, my yields have been way up. I don't have to mess around with lighting adjustments anymore like I would do with CFLs and LED's near as much trying to increase light area and intensity. I love my T5 eight bulb!!

That's comforting because only 4 bulbs on my t-5 are working lol
