I'm planning a Herbies order in a few weeks.. one of the strains I'm interested in is the great Fast & Vast.
But now I'm being tempted by other strains- Is 2 Fast 2 Vast really significantly better in terms of yield and potency?
And I've noticed alot of great looking Massive Midget grows.. And noticing they have a Fruity Punch strain. This is very tempting, but I'm not able to find much info or existing grows on that one, maybe because it's kind of new.

Anyways, anyone here want to share there experiences with a Heavyweight strain? I need help making up my mind. I'm interested in potency, taste, and speed (under or around 80 days would be great).

Personally, the fast and vast line, either of them, were hit or miss for me. Not the greatest tasting one either. Potency was ok... But I like Mephisto SODK, Walter white, or ripley OG. Some heavy hitters and nice yielding. Again, depending on your growing conditions, results will vary. Hydro was the highest yielding, pain in the ass although. Soil was easy, just less yielding. I thinking all depends on the genetics and your how green your thumb is...

Have a look around the forum and you'll see some very experienced growers yielding huge amounts from an auto, way more then I know how to do!!..

Best of luck!!.

Thanks, yeah, I've been lurking here for months so I have seen a lot of grows. Since I'm only on my 4th, I kinda had the idea that I would sample a strain or two from a few different breeders. Most everything I'm interested in I learned about on this board somewhere. Other strains that caught my eye are Think Different, Sugar Black Rose, SS Dark Devil, Fastbuds Green Crack, and Dinafem Blue Cheese... they all seem to be "big names" around here, but I haven't really explored the Mephisto stuff yet. I can easily be talked out of a Heavyweight strain and into something with better taste/potency.. And thanks for the recommendations.

I'm growing a Heavyweight Massive Midget right now, about 3 weeks from harvest. It is producing beautiful buds. i did a lot of LST so it's very low, but bulking up daily.

The ones Ive seen, and or by word of mouth. That are said to be really good, is the massive midget and wipeout express. I have not personally grown these. So, Im just telling you, what I have been told. =) So, only take my rec with a grain of salt or 2. :dancer::toke:

I did a Wipeout Express in my last run and it was great man.. got 4 ozs off it under 480w Vipar LED.. have done a few fast and vast and have a 2f2v at about 10 days old now.. i love their strains.. theyve yielded the most against sweet, DP, barneys, and a few others.. easy to grow, nice big plants, fat buds.. Have a turbo bud almost ready to come down now.. day 82 today :) and lookin good.. they have a few new auto strains out that im gonna try v soon.. skunky monkey the only name that comes to mind atm but I think theres 3/4 new auto strains out recently.. you should check out their own sight if you haven't already :) most my plants take 80/90 days due my to set up so cant say theyre not quick.. just not for me.. theyve been the tastiest and among the strongst ive grown too.. but again thats set up influenced.. ive struggled to get a taste and smell of most other plants.. not with HW :) omg i sound like i work for them lol anyway.. Im rambling.. for me Heavyweight have been outstanding and will feature in my meagre grows for a while to come ;)

No problem bro easily could have been taken that way.:pass:

Growing a Massive Midget myself; it's been slow compared to the Sugar Black Rose I've been growing alongside it, but it's bushier and has more bud sites now that they're both in flowering. The Sugar Black Rose started fattening up her buds about 5 days earlier, but the Massive Midget is on course to be a fat yield herself (there's still a good three weeks left in my grow, maybe more, and she's just now putting on trichomes and as said has put out a LOT more budding sites).

I'll post in my grow and edit this post when it's done to say how generous, but it's looking like the name is well earned: she's short and squat from LST and slower growth, but she's thrown out a lot of side branches and bud sites even after at first I thought she wouldn't.

Sorry, I thought heavy-weight meant heavy yielding, not the breeder/brand....

Hey, I for one am always glad to hear about heavy-yielding strains
