Yellowing on leaf!!

As for pH, get yourself a soil pH probe, and not the cheapo skinny rod type, those suck... I have an Accurate 8 (Control Wizard) --> :phsoil: (long probe unit here) that's been gold for years now.... Meantime, get me a whole plant pic, a flush might be in order to get that 2000ppm down!... not a casual thing to do, waterlogging the soil like that(can smother roots), but it's the lesser evil at times...

Are the soil probes the same as the PH meters ? like will i have to keep them in a solution and calibrate etc all the time ? The guy at my hydro store said i should get the probe instead of the Meter, but the only one they had was a bluelabs one ($180) which is a little pricey.

Get the meter as @Waira suggests, bluelabs are great, but costly.

Other option here is a slurry test, equal parts soil from the pot and water. Let sit about 5 to 10 minutes and take pH and ppm.

meters are for liquids only, the probe type like the Accurate 8, et al,. work entirely differently... The Blue Labs unit is a modified electrode bulb type, like a pH meter though, more accurate, but more of a pain to use properly and maintain.... look for amazon deals on the A8 or equivalent under different brand names, but same unit as you'll see,... same Chinese factory basically!
