Can anyone help I’m not sure if this a magnesium deficiency or not? It’s mainly on the newer growth. I’m running a flood and drain system, 490ppm I’m at and ph is at 5.8 slowly rising to 6.2 before I drop it back down.
I’m just going into week 6 but this showed up almost a week ago thought at first it was mute burn so I dropped the ppms down a bit but they seem to be drinking a lot and feeding heavy so have raised them back up again.

Heyo bud, seems like you might actually still have nutrient burn.

What's your ppm at this time? Yellowing on the younger leaves could be Manganese(Not magnesium, older leaves get the yellowing) deficiency, but "it is almost always associated with Fe and Zn deficiencies". Which you don't seem to be having. This also seems in very early stages so its hard to tell.

Also, what's the light you are using? What intensity/PAR? How far from the canopy? Could also be light burn.

Light burn example below:

Check your light intensity/height per manufacture guidance or use a PAR meter.
Also on the next watering, check the pH and ppm before and of the run-off as well, then adjust accordingly.

Feed, Feed, Water seems to work well for experienced. Not me, tho. I'm on my first grow, just learning a lot. Take my advice with a grain of salt. Keep researching.

Hope all goes well.

Hi sensikeeper, early on i realised I was running the lights slightly too intense so raised them and have been gradually lowering as veg has progressed. With checking runoff I’m unable as I’m running a flood and drain modular system but have been checking res tank daily if not twice daily for ppms and ph values and all is well as they are feeding and drinking a lot that’s why I have been increasing gradually too but I think I have got to the bottom of the issue now via research…I didn’t realise that I still need to flush once every 2 weeks my media even though it’s clay pebbles they can accumulate a lot of salt build up which can become very toxic to the plants so have given a flu headache now with ph 5.8 fresh RO water and now back to it so hopefully that has ceased the issues with her. Thanks for the post though really appreciate it and also for the graph showing the different deficiencies .
