Problem:yellow spots, some yellow edges and some curling

Medium/grow method:plagron All mix soil

Feed: and supplements used: water only

water source: well, through filter system.

Strain/age: could be jack herrer but labels have came off pots,,, 24 days old

light used:2x600w hps air cooled hoods, plus an extra 6 inch extraction fan from tent roof space

Climate: indoor tent, temps 26, humidity 60%,

Got up today and found the girlies all yellowing at new growth tips.
PH of water in is always 6.2
Soil reading pH is only 4.5
Could this be the issue

While the experts come... i'll say you might need to take pictures with whiter/natural light to be able to see the green of the leaves better. But in the second picture I am able see the yellow tip edges you mention... I believe I had something similar with my auto recently... still haven't determined the exact cause, but one thing i had was root rot (and I was also underfeeding (hydro nutes in cococoir))... so in case this is happening to you, try to make sure you are not overwatering.

EDIT: ugh, I had completely igonred the pH you mentioned... yeah... the low pH in the soil is not a good thing.

yeah, i did think that
when my new meter comes ill try a definitive 6.2 an if it stays low ill feed at a slightly higher ph
thats just how my brain sees a solution:smoking:, any better or correct solutions are welcomed

Mebbies next feed up the ph and flush her with it....ive totally lost myself with my feeding schedule with my first lady who is growing in 70/30 coco perlite so I switched to biobizz lightmix soil for myotherladieswho seem to be loving it. I find given the plants what they need is hard when dealing with coco.

i did think a bit of rot might be an issue, made the mistake of thinking what came mixed in the soil would be ample :(
been letting them dry proper between waters now.
ill get em out the tent an get some proper pics,
the yellowing seems to be subsiding.
tied down some branches a bit last night an switched to 18/6 so they also got their first sleep.
look fantastic today at a glimpse in, we shall see in an hour or so when i get back through.

cheers for the advice so far.
defo bit off more than i can chew :)

seems i still have a few issues.
back to the search bar
23 days from sprout
one feed so far with PM bloom 2 days ago
just getting dry enough for another watering tonight or tomorrow

can this still be neuts from the soil doing this after 25 days
seems to be the sativa strains suffering most

Don't let them dry out so much, it's screws with pH, nute uptake, and if bad enough kills part of the roots... Nutes are weak at those ppm's, not all tip yellowing is nute burn, it's pretty generic symptom in fact,... bowing that looks kinda like N toxicity is also nutrition related,....spots/necrosis, could be P defc.....
Sativa's can be more nute sensitive, true, but that's not the case here if your feeds have been minimal and started just recently,....
