New Grower Yellow leaves when light is off green leaves when light is on?

I have noticed that after my dark period which I have on 18/6 my new growth appears yellow but then right before it goes dark the new growth is green again any ideas why? Lights on green new growth, lights off yellow new growth idk why and I can’t find any info on it. It’s only on the new growth

You can't find any info on it because leaves don't go from light green to dark green due to lights being on or off.. If the leaf if light green, it will be light green regardless if the light is on or off..

Depending on what kind of lights you have they could look different under the light than when it is off. I use led's and I have another, cheaper supplemental led I use for the outside edge of my grow. The leaves are a dramatically different color where they are shaded from the main light source, a deep dark blue, due to the different type of led

not sure if i understand what you mean but maybe you are just seeing new rapid growth gain its normal green thanks to the light activating photosynthesis and all that. some pictures would be nice.
