Yellow leaf spot/Leaf Septoria or Rust of some sort moving into buds

Medium/grow method: Soiless (RootFARM coco/peat/mix), 5Gal fabric pot, hand watering

Feed: Advanced Nutes PH Perfect Grow/Bloom/Micro now at 3/4 strength (about 750ppm) weekly in 1gal water. + PH'd tap water +CalMag every 2nd-3rd day.

Supplements used: AN SensiCal Mag Xtra every feed (now at full strength ~ 450ppm / PH'd 6.5

Water source: Tap Bubbled for 24hrs, 110-130pph PH'd after nute mix to 6.5 every feed. Hand watering.

Strain/age: Critical Purple Auto - Growers Choice / 9wks+1day

Light used: Meizhi R600w (Actual 270w) 18/6 since 7days old

Climate:Env: 38"x38"x70" Tent
Day: Max 79.5deg Min 39%RH
Night: Min 70.1deg 45%RH

Additional info:

About 2nd week of flowering she started developing what I thought was Mag Deficiency (tiny rust dots) and was showing some Light Stress (stretched to 6" from the light in a couple days, top leaves started twisting). I raised the light to 20" and increased calMag to full strength at every watering.

I didn't do a lot of defol, and there was a lot of leaf overlap from tucking. Some mornings leaves were pretty wet / dewey inbetween. So I'm pretty sure this is where the Leaf Septosis came in. I've been cleaning her up and it had slowed, but something has moved into the sugar leaves and is messing with resin development.

She has about 3wks left, is there anything I can do other than continuously cut off affected areas? I'd prefer not to spray the buds with anything as they're super sticky and it'd be a huge mess.

Checked runoff yesterday was at ph 5.8?!?. Flushed with 7gal @ 7ph, brought the medium up to 6.2. Spots and rust still advancing, not sure where to go from here. Please help!

What dose are you using for cal/mag?She's not to bad yet but you can over due cal/mag but it's pretty hard.How often do you feed her?

Thanks for the reply, she's been getting 2ml/L per the bottle instructions every watering (3rd day), plus the same once a week in her feeding - you reckon this is still magnesium deficiency (or toxicity)?

I was thinking it was septosis early on, so started to clip every leaf that showed dots last week and the week before. It's probably quite a bit further along than she looks. This is my first grow in years, and my first auto ever. I've always done dwc but figured I go all new and try and hand feeding in soilless. She's been a dream so far but this is throwing me for a loop!

-- that's some P defc. mate, almost certainly caused by the low pH which locks out P quickly, light stress made matters worse to a degree as well,... Not septoria for sure! I'd look into a bloom booster, a high PK product, AN has a couple,... now's the time!

@Waira , thanks for the reply. She's finally dried out after the flush so I'll be feeding with 100% strength CalMag + 50% base 3 combo (maybe a little heavier on bloom than grow). I've ordered some Overdrive from Amazon but with only 1-2 feedings left (2-3 wks) and a week delivery, do you think it's worth it - aka for the last feed?

do what you can with what you have,.. I see a lot of green, fans not fading in N like they should,.. AN has a lot of "hidden" N in the various supplements,... bloom is weak in PK,.. it doesn't need to be AN, the plant certainly doesn't care! If the PK booster gets there in time for a couple feeds, it'll help some, but it's late in the game for much more fattening,.. it's about getting good terpenes at elast, and overall potency,... K is key in the terp's, so is S,... many late stage bloom boosters are high K, lower P vs. early-mid' bloom nutes,...

I am harvesting my very first grow and had the same exact issue! I'd swear your pics were mine! Really started showing up at flower and I now realize I had P lockout due to low PH. It probably affected my yield, my worst affected plant only 34 grams, but my other plants got an average of 70.

Hey all,

Just thought I'd chime back in after harvest/drying. She finished off with 202gm /7.4oz. I knew she'd be a monster, but what a great experience coming back to it.
