I was wondering what kind of experiences people are getting with these "big bud" type seeds such as XL, XXL and XTRM. Are they worth it? What are the yield differences from their non-big bud companions? Potency level differences? Grow time differences?

Not sure if dinafem xxl is what you might be talking about but I grew 2 for my first grow one had been transplanted about 4 times and the other had been in the same pot since day one the one that was transplanted her most recent move was from a 3 gallon plastic pot to a 7 gallon smart pot and the other is in a 3 gallon smart pot I wish I had went with 5 gallon smart pots from the beginning but they are both doing good I have a hella cola on my one that wasn't transplanted bout 10 inches tall
Think i remember TaNg growing a Dynafem XXL .. But you'd need to go to his profile and check his threads to see.
There's definately an XL Cream mandarin by sweet seeds with a video in their section.

I've never heard of XTRM .. But possibly you mean Dutch Passion Auto Extreme - which there are plenty of grow journal available in the Dutch Passion section.
If you are looking for big yeilds - Think Different (also by Dutch Passion) seems to be a good choice for many! The smoke reports sounds good and yields look good.
Use good genetics (like the ones members recommend here) and most of the time, you should be able to yeild enough to keep you going until the next grow - even with only a couple of plants and being a reasonably persistent smoker!
