Would you recommend drying the whole plant vs the plant in parts?

I have read that different people do different things. I would likely dry 2 plants at 1 time in a 2x2x4 drying tent. Would you recommend hanging the whole plant in 1 part or divide it into lots of parts and hang the parts on the twine in the tent?

Depends how big and how leafy and dense the plant is. Girls who spread themselves out and don’t have as much foliage I hang whole. When they get big and there’s a lot bud and leaf I’ll cut into two or three sections. Too small and it’ll dry too fast to big and crowded and possible mold

Individual branches are easier to handle.

I separate the branches, hang them from wire, and control my humidity to ~50%, no higher. If you do not control your humidity, you could run into either too quick drying which will make the weed taste like hay, or mould which will bugger it, and that will be the case whether or not you hang whole plants or parts.

I have also dried individual buds in a hanging mesh dehydrator, but that did not work as well as whole branches. The dry was too quick, and the bud suffered in odor and flavour.
