Hi AFN, im lookin for some advice befour i go & make this expensive purches. Im lookin at the Photon PRO 186 LED Light from Quantum LED. Iv read the spec on the light & think it is very impressive, I know the Blackstar is the popular choice here on AFN or the Grownorthern & they ar growin some crackin plants, but the Photon PRO 186 dose seem to be a quality light, but i dont want to fall foul to the bad guys out there sellin S%%t. If any1 can ease my mind with this model it would be great. Thanks AFN
Double Lens technology Fine tuned spectrums for maximum production and density! This technology was created after 4 years of testing and growing research. This type of technology
uses many diverse angled lenses that spread from 60-90 degrees in certain combinations in precise nanometer ranges. What this does is enables for maximum canopy penetration combined
with massive flower production! Quality 3watt LED diodes available, produced by Bridgelux and Epistar! :smokebuds:

Hi Red Eye C i was hopin u would chip in here,im not to clued up wi links & stuff so i wil put the web site up http://www.quantumled.co.uk/Home.aspx i know it ant cheap but if it is all sound i will buy it. Its things like the Blackstar only uses 6 Band Spectrum the Photon Pro uses 7, just smal things like that make it sound a bit better,,,but is it???

Well yes that is the 126 it wil be the 186 i wil buy.

F**k i need to lay off the vapor man,,,yea very sorry the 189..Now u know why i always seek advice Red Eye C...:smokebuds:

Got it mate :smokebuds: yeah it's a nice light and has a good spectrum, its looks like it will do the biz from reading the specs, but iv not seen any grows with a light from there mate so i cant vouch for them..I also think you could buy 2 of these for £80 less http://grownorthern.com/index.php?p...n=com_virtuemart&Itemid=75&vmcchk=1&Itemid=75 and have more wattage ( photon = 330w max or 2x GN LEDs 180wx2 =360w ) and you can manoeuvre 2 panels around your space better than one big panel mate..the Grownorthern runs a 5 spectrum compared to the 7 of the photon, but im not sure how much the added spectrum improves there lights pal.as youve probably seen the 5 spectrum the GN uses works a treat and produces nice fat plants and buds, that's why I opted for one and took delivery last Friday :smokebuds:

Yes im the same ii cant find any grows with the Photon Pro,& i can understand the better opp with 2 lights with movin them to suit ur needs of ur grow. I do gamble & that is what this could be. But the watts ar diff from what ur sayin,im understandin the 189 is 594w max. Well thanks again m8. Il let evry1 know what i end up with mayby i can be the 1st to put a diary up wi the Photon PRO see how it performs...:smokebuds:
