Hi, Been some years since I last grow and then just two times. Now I think the flowering is going very slow and am worried I will only get small popcorn buds. I see changes every day, but minor. How long is this flowering phase and should I be worried? Strain Gorilla glue fem auto. Brand Nordic seeds. Grow medium aeroponics, 600w hps. Ph in range 5,6-6.2 and temps are good in water and air. Have airflow with fan. Some tops are burned due to being close to the lamp.

Hey Buddy,

First off, :welcome: to AFN
How old are those ladies? Could you take some pictures from above and with normal lights on?
They look in early flower for what I can see...So they still need some time, but without more info I can't say for certain.

Regards,

Bob :toke:

They sprouted 10. September. Got a bad start coz ph meter broke after 2 weeks and did not get a replacement before 2 weeks. Then ph was 3.5. After I corrected ph they started to grow fast. I have a jungle with way too many plants since I wanted to try sea of green. But it seems like a failure. I could not control the height and set the net too low since the plants were so small. They suddenly shot to the stars.

So that makes them about 44 days old right now and that's where I would have guessed...Early flower.
That's actually not bad in there. Ok, you are having space issues, but then who hasn't...:biggrin:
What I would do is super crop these ladies at the following line.

Try to keep the height of the bends the same. That way you'll end up with an even canopy.
If you don't know how you can read up on super cropping here

Never tried super cropping, but I guess I could try on those two with burned top. One times have to be the first :-)

To get the hang of it, start with the younger softer shoots. They are easier to squeeze...
This video explains it, there are probably more to be found.

Look first and learn, then try out on the softest shoots and then just go for it.
The first picture is just after defoliating, supercropping and SCROGging under the net. The second is exactly three days later...
