Hey guys I'm on day 68 and they are starting to turn pale green, I just added a top dressing I'm hoping it helps it look healthier again, the buds are starting to fill out nicely but the older growth seems to be dying off a little too fast, any info is greatly appreciated

I'm beginning to wonder whether these efficient LED watts are giving us light bleaching.
I've had similar problems to yours with a new, powerful light, even though I'm keeping it much further away than the mfg recommends.

I've not had these problems before with other lights, but it could be strain dependent.
Mephisto Ripley's OG and Autoseeds SiberianExpress are the worst affected.

Although I'm not a pruner, I did cut some of those yellowing leaves off, because they seem to have outlived their usefulness.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but yeah these cobs from what I've been reading they make plants use more nutes, now I'm not certain it's just what I have read so far but yeah these are super intense and I found out I had them too close at first, I moved them up and they looked happier. I'm not a pruner either I only plucked the leaves that were ready to literally almost fell off when I removed them, I just tuck all the leaves I can because my personal experience was when I defoliated too much it affected my yield I could see where the buds were supposed to connect but I it taught me a lot. I put a top dressing on and they look a lot happier now I just hope they get some color back into them and another thing I'm not too worried about is its mainly the older fan leaves that are hurting and these are at day 68 so I'm hoping it's part of the life process of fading and maturing but it should take another 30-35 days to finish

:toke:- we need more info mate,.. feeds in particular, brand , dosage, frequency... medium used... Off the cuff, they look to be hurting for P and S, and eating fans fast for N too,...

I'm using live soil, recharge and myco chum microb, I just did a top dressing seemed to help a little bit but these are about 25-30days left so I am not sure if it's just the life cycle of the autoflower especially because it seems like the older fan leaves are only affected

... makes sense, the soil is tapped out so they are eating fans like crazy for what mobile nutes they can get... problem is, several critical nutes are poorly or immobile within the plant...these are mainly micronutes and S, Ca too....
top dress with something fairly rich, kelp too (for micronutes),...time is running out and organics need that to breakdown and become available.....

Light stress will cause deficiency symptoms. Some plants more then others.

I dont think the plants use more nutes under LEDs i believe they dont transpire enough(more heat thrown from HPS) to pull what they need in unless your VPD is in check. I just battled again what i thought was a deficiency and it made me chase my tail for a bit again. Turns out I forgot to dial back my driver when i finished last round. It always seems they veg fine its in flower light stress shows up.
