Extraction Will the hash have the hay taste if the flowers do?

One of my plants was woerd from the start, seemed like a genetic problem but when I dry/cured it the end product smells like hay or straw. I have never had this problem but I think it from not all the chlorophyl not converting from either drying too fast (which I'm in a very dry climate) or another factor. So anyhow I was thinking about making some bubble from it, its potent stuff just tastes and smells like hay, so will the hash taste the same or not because you are only getting the trichs? any correction or answer is greatly appreciated.

I agree, sounds like you dried it too quickly. No, your bubble hash should be fine. The hay smell comes from the vegetable matter and since almost all of it is removed when making hash, there should be no taste of hay.

just made some butter from some hash(very potent!!!!) And there is a wonderful canna taste, but no hay!

I also found that my hash had even less taste when it had been decarbed in the oven slowly. I actually thought I had overcooked it. I put it in a batch of brownies and that were FANTASTIC! Plus, you couldn't taste/smell any weediness in the brownies.
