Good evening all,
I’ve been growing for a few years now and I seem to be coming across the same problem over and over again the end product is not that strong ?
I use a soil medium
Auto pot feed system
600w hps air tube fitting ducted outside
5 inch in 6 inch out through carbon filter
Internal circulation fan
Temp max 85f day min 70f ni
Canna food @ 1.5 ec ph 6.0
2 week flush
5 days in dry and then Jared to cure
However every time it comes out I think WEAK
Got loads of crystals but weak

Any ideas peeps?

it makes me sad when my own supply ain’t getting me high lol
And have to go and spend hard earned money on fake Cali

Hey THG :toke:

Let me be the first to :welcome: you to AFN.
Loads of information to be found and lot's of friendly people willing to help you out

When I read the above information, my first question would be what kind of seeds/genetics have you been growing? The flushing is something we'll talk about later, but for now...genetics. Second question, on what did you base your decision to harvest? Did you check the trichomes?

Tip: Start a grow diary on the forum. It's fun, you can learn from it, you help others out showing how it's done and maybe even important showing how it's not done. it happens, look at my threads

Regards,

Bob :toke:

Hey Bob the seeds I’ve had have been
Using are
Cheese can’t remember the seed bank
Dr kriplings, incredible bulk
King Buddha, cheese
Heavy weight, 2 fast 2 vast
Also they have all came out tasting similar
Crop based loosely on time on 80 percent brown pistols over plant and some clear some clowdy trics about 50/50

This is more than likely the issue.
Agreed. Pistils are very deceiving. They can all draw in turn brown and every trich on the plant still be clear. 2 days later they’ll be covered in white pistils again. Trichs are really the only way to know. And 50/50 clear and cloudy you’re leaving a lot of potency on the table. Probably chopping several weeks to early. I have a plant right now I’m impatiently waiting on. She’s 90 cloudy and 5/5 clear and amber. I’m not chopping her until I either don’t see any clear, or I see 20 amber.

@The happy gardener :welcome: Welcome to AFN :welcome:

I think @Bob's Auto's Hit the nail on the head and then bailed. Genetics is number one.

You stop feeding the plant when it needs nutrients to fatten up 15% of the bud weight can come on in the last two weeks.

Feed your soil and plants some carbohydrates along with your regular nutrients the last two weeks and do not harvest until the buds are showing 20% amber.

The need to Flush is a myth!
