to AFN!!!I've only been on the forums for like 6ish months, but as far as I can tell, it's just growers helping growers. No compensation required. I'm only on my second grow but I'd be more then happy to help were I can. There's lots more people on here with more experience who would be willing to do the same
:smoking:How were you planning on growing? Indoor/outdoor? Soil, soil less, hydro, DWC? What's your setup? Grow tent, closet, green house, back porch? Grow lights?
I've only grown in soil so that's mainly where I'll be able to help.
That’s good because I’m going to be growing in soil . All mix soil . With 600w hps lights and advanced nutrients . I will need help with best way to germinate the seeds aswell@Doctordre

here to help mate . I'm a grower breeder and only use organic soil . Tag along with me as I have just started a new grow.
If your gonna use liquids I'd go with the Canna bio line with the bio boost rhizo and happy frog soil. But anything will work. it's just the quality of the bud. You can use nutrient lines with PGRs that make bud weigh more yield more but screws with resin production and makes golf ball sized buds no matter what strain. Ruins quality strains. So you want to make sure your stuff has no pgrs. I've never used advanced maybe others can add their experience.

:smoking: From what I remember years ago, HPS is great for flowering but not so good on the veg stage. Might want to see if you can get some blue light in there for the month or so of veg stage. 5500k to 6500k area......As far as germing, I have always flopped at the paper towel method so just a day or so soak in water then into the pot.....keeping it as simple as possible at first means an easier time chasing any problems that might arise (less to look at as a cause). Since your doing soil, keep yellow sticky traps on hand, 1 or 2 in there can show if fungus gnats show up, water quality is a must, city tap, well tap, etc can have big effect on plants....lots of people go for RO or distilled, whether store bought or home made.....depending on your soil and nutrient line there is a good chance there will be enough Cal-Mag available, if you have some, put it away for now. Always check the PH range of your nutes/water before it goes in the pots as there can be PH drift as it settles. And ask for as much help as you want, we love to help. Good luck.
Hps will work in veg I started with a 400watt might not be the best you can always get other bulbs if you want.

When it comes to germinating I've done the paper towel method and soaked them in water like @Bill.de.Cat mentioned. Have had success with both.
