Hi everyone, long time lurker here finally decided to make an account and ask or answer a few questions :).
I currently have a 4x8 tent with 2 600w hps lights in it. This is my first grow and its going pretty well so far, I'm growing in coco with 15L auto pots and using the Dutch Pro line of nutrients. My girls just started flowering a few days ago and all seems to be well. Where I live it is very hot and electricity expensive. I have been researching LEDs for some time and have decided on Amare for my lights. I was wondering what would be the best setup for this tent? Should I buy 2 SE450s or maybe 4 SP300s? Is there a bigger bang for buck light so to speak if I were to use a different amount of space? I have quite a big room I can use that the tent sits in and wouldn't mind not using it however I would like to keep my total power draw under 1800w.
Thanks for any suggestions.

For a 4x8, 2 x SE450 will be the most cost-effective option. We just started shipping the third generation SE500UVB as a replacement for the current SE450UVB. New enhanced 94cri spectrum with ~3x the 660nm peaking @662nm.

Two SP300 (Pro3) will have better coverage and ppfd distribution with it's longer bar design.

Please contact me direct at victor@amaretechnology if you have any questions.

Cheers!

fuck yeah amare.

if you haven't already decided I bet 2 x se500 in a 4x8 would be unreal. awesome to hear the se450 has gotten a little boost ;)

@Askmax you CANNOT go wrong with Vic and Amare. The 2 x SE450 would SMASH IT..... keep us updated.

can confirm what is being said here. I own the new se500 uvb. i have one in a 3x3. it kicks ass no drop off in coverage. in a 4x8 you need two. you wont regret it. Follow my sig to a current grow with the se500
