Hey Ya'll,
I've been out of the cannabis scene since the mid 80's, so basically everything is foreign to me now. I'm doing it again for medical reasons, and it's pretty easy to figure out which strains are going to be good for severe pain, sleep, etc.. What I'm having a hard time figuring out is which strains are as I remember them in the early 80's when sensimillia was first in my area. Great head trips, get totally lost in music, ya know what I mean? I think it should be good for depression and anxiety unless you hit it too hard.
Just tossin' it out there, hope to get some opinions from you experienced growers/smokers.

Look for sativa dominant strains . Heard lot of good stuff about the haze .

I now try to have a selection of 1:1 cbd to thc and 2:1 cbd to thc strains that are beneficial. Also for the worse pain days, I like Afghan Kush Ryder. Its an indica stain. Potent.

Anybody using marijuana for anxiety, depression, paranoia etc. should start with one to two hits to see how it works. It is quite easy to exasperate those conditions with taking too many hits. You will need to find out whether indica or sativa plays best with your body regarding the pain/sleep aspect. I dumped all my nasty pain meds in favor of marijuana and it has beed a very positive experience.

Alright, there are some answers I can use! Thanks! Sorry it took so long to reply, Holidays and all. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.
