When to stop LST training

Hi all,

I am growing 2 strains of autoflowers, Purple Kush and Pineapple Express. Purple Kush are 22 days from seed and Pineapple Express 17 days from seed. The PK started to show preflowers/female hairs today (these are feminized but I am still looking for possible males and none yet [emoji846]). My question is with autos, when is it safe to continue LST training till? I am only bending, tying down, tucking and light defoliation of large fan leaves blocking light to bud sites, nothing more.

Not 100% buddy as I'm on my first grow but from what I gather you wait until stretch has finished roughly 1 inch of new growth a day.

I'm on day 40 with my Auto Kaya 47 and I'm still tying the girl down dude so your safe for some time I think. I retied and trimmed mine yesterday and she's still steaming along.

No worries dude not 100% gospel but it's what I've deduced from other members and research.

Yeah apart from some light burn and a slight mag deficiency she's ok [emoji23] I think she's got 11 colas all told lol. Canada canna grow cool name man. Better not be from Vancouver the whitecaps screwed my multi bet today [emoji85]

Ya, most of what I've learned with growing is "best practice" as opposed to "law" with how to do things.

And no, I'm not on the west coast, I'm east in Ontario. Hope no serious probs for u out there [emoji120]

I Start LST very early and continue basically through out the grow, bending, moving branches to get the best light through out the plant or control height, I like to keep canopy as even as possible .Here are some random LST'ing on various girls.

Greetings. I LST my plants up to the last few days. By bending the tops, you open the lowers to more light. I keep the lower outside branches pulled out and up, you get good extra cola development this way.
I just finished a Mephisto Genetics Sour Livers that responded as well to LST as any plant I've grown. Sour Crack as well.
I also use a SCROG net to aid in LST. Take a look at any of my journals, I pretty much point out the LST or mention the methodology. I use a lot of pipe cleaners.
You can see the resulting shape in these 2 girls that were chopped yesterday.
I had removed all the secondaries a couple days previous to the pic.
