When to stop feeding.

Hi all,

I'm coming up to 6 weeks into my first grow and am wondering if there's a way to tell your 2 weeks away, so that I can stop giving them nutes. All of mine have all grown at different rares, I've got 4 strains, 3 of each and are all at different stages.

I start lowering nute level when I notice it stops drinking as fast most of the time it's when buds start putting on weight and atleast 65%-70% hairs are brown so if I was feeding 800ppm I would drop to 550 or so and continue to feed and depending on how many% amber trics is when u stop feeding altogether and use ph water only for 5 days or so.

Kinda a tough one, all our environments are different, grow styles different, etc. Most of the auto strains I've run go about 85 days total. A few were well shy of that (sour crack) and fast finishers, but the vast majority are in the 80s. Have grown a couple hundred in the last few years.

I've never gone as high as 800ppm as the recommended ml for regs only comes in at 550, but the water around here's pretty good and starts at 110ppm, or do you add 800 onto the standard ppm?

I took solution to 800 last night but it dropped the pH quite a bit to 4.2,by the time I had upped the pH the ppm was 956, I gave them it and so far got the tiniest bit of nite burn on the new tips of my least budded plant and on one of my better plants it has lightened slightly the leaves, I think I'm gonna give them all one more a little bit weaker tomorrow and then give my most developed one weak ones while I wait for the hairs to change and then just water and I'll start to drop the nuts lower gradually on the others.

I was simply using numbers to show how much of a relative drop so if ur at 500 start to reduce when it starts drinking less to 400ppm then lower ect till ending up with water only for up to 5days.
