My plants current size. My last feed I gave them each 16 fl oz

Im really confused with this as I really dont want to overwater.... 3.5 weeks old. When am I supposed to water till run off? i jave them in smart pots and am currently watering every third day.

I have some in 3 and 4 gallon plastic pots. And a couple in smart fabric pots. I imagine some will take only a liter for run off and some will take a bit more. Im very nervous.

Thanks for any help or advice

Depends on how you are growing. I rarely water till runoff.
That "soil " looks pretty light meaning drains well. But don't know. I water 2x a day in coco. Or have a tray that I fill with water as the plants drink it all. I will water only (just water maybe with a little fulvic added) really heavy once in a while and vacuum out the runoff.

Thanks for the input. I know theres no "one way" to do this. I appreciate you sharing.

If you are in soil. Water the plant. Pick up the pot. Remember the weight. When it is half as heavy water again

You're not going to overwater using16-32 oz. for that age and pot size. The problems come in if you water them too often
keeping the roots in a saturated environment. Don't concentrate on run off, just keep medium moist. It appears all plants are
stretching for light. Good luck, that's a lot of plants.

2 choices...imo..
(1)develop your own data and method with your own input.......pick a sacrificial plant and feed/water as you 'think' it needs...others as you've been doing. Simple records will reveal 'your' best...a several plants grows are always your best 'tell' for future adjustments.
(2)Moisture meter. Finger sticks never tell ya what ya root ball is doing.
Personally, I'm in biobizz LM, 3 ltr, and BB nutes and stopped water/feed to runoff years ago and I only water/feed when meter indicates need. Simple.
Main point to think about....plants handle a drought better than they do a flood. You'll always have time to fix a drought but there's no answer to drowning.
