I have 4 seeds germinating. I am using Biobizz soil, light mix in the first quarter of the pot then all mix.
I have a 600 watt HPS and the corner of the room is surrounded with reflexive mylamar. Once the seeds pop how soon do i put them under the light and how near?
My first try indoors so any help appreciated.

When you put the germed seeds in their pots, start light straight away. As far as distance, an hps grower will have to give you that info. I've never used that kind of light.

For the first week or so they don’t require much light, once you see green put her straight under light, I waited a few days didn’t hurt but delayed mine a bit.

Distance is up to you, once the “Stretch” is over (week 6 to 8) you may need to adjust distance a few times. When adjusting, try to get the right angle so that your reflective surface can bounce back up at your lower limbs if your not LST or super-cropping. That’s how it was explained to me.

My LED mfg recommended distance is 12” or 30cm I have kept her a lot further away tho and even 6” away I had to adjust many times during the stretch phase. But I am mostly confident she couldn’t use the whole 600w until the last month.
