When to harvest ?

Hi I know there’s a week or 2 still left to go but my plants are 7 and half weeks old on a 9 week strain. I’ve recently bought a jewellers loupe 30x 60x to check trichomes but can’t use the thing for love nor money !! Not only is it hard to focus but to make things harder it also upside down when I look into the stupid thing, Some of the hairs tho have curled in and orange the strain guide is 9 weeks is there any way I can determine when’s an acceptable time to harvest without being all sciencey ? would maybe a week after all the hairs turning orange curling inwards suffice ? I’m new to growing and this will be my first harvest so don’t wanna mess things up thanks in advance.

You can snip a tiny piece of bud and get it under the loupe. Much more stable.

Dumb question but are you looking through the loupe the right way that maybe why everything is upside down? But you should be able to go off the hairs decently use this graphic to help

First off, nice plant, won't be too long, another two weeks probably.

I would not put much faith in the breeder supplied time frame,,,I have yet to have a plant go less than 3 weeks past their suggestions, lol.
You should go by the color of the trichomes and not the hairs. The trichs will first be clear and bright, then turn cloudy white, then start turning amber. My goal is about 10% amber and mostly cloudy with a few clear trichs.

Not a dumb question. Im pretty dumb but yeah bro I checked both ways. It’s friking flipped, seriosuly annoying and frustrating to use. My misses would probably struggle finding my dick with that thing. Thanks for the info I’ll get a bigger one off the Amazon and spend abit more money maybe.

just another quick dumb question lol all is need is the mobile data and internet connection from my phone right ? Or would I need a wifi router conecting to both the phone and microscope ?

Nope should be good with just phone and scope… the camera creates a wireless network that your phone will connect to. I also highly recommend a microphone stand that helps for taking clear pictures. I don't believe you even need you internet connection.. Phone does need to be WIFI capable
