Indoor When to harvest ????

Hi guys had to start a new thread


The question is when to harvest (obviuosly)

The question emerges as since Im a noob and didnt f*ck up my grow till this stage, Im hesitant to harvest early but im worried that Im actually late !!!

Strain is Dutch Passion AutoMazar - seed to harvest = 70 days

These 2 plants grown under 70w HPS/MH and 3 CFL`s = 700 watts output

2 plants - indoor - day 66

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I think 1 of the indoors is well past harvest as it is no longer full of crystals looking dry, the other is getting there however still sugary looking, and I think my outdoor is at a perfect stage.

When you say the fan leaves begin to turn yellow, this has been going on for quite a while now but I was thinking that the top leaves turn yellow too, the ones coming out of the top head ?????

I would advise using a scope to look at the trichs. Clear heads = not ready yet. Cloudy heads = A "sativaish" Head rush high. Amber heads = a "Indicaish" couch-lock stone. These are very general classifications. With the few outdoor grows I have completed I tried to get harvest when about 50% of trichs are cloudy/milky, and the other 50% are amber in color. Hopes this helps a little.

There is still ongoing debate if autos actually amber or not. I've looked at them with a scope at 12 weeks and not seen any, yet just today some pictures were posted of some of LBHs auto hazes that do have amber. What I've been doing is waiting until all the fan leaves have completely yellowed and died off and the bud leaves are turning yellow. Judging from your pictures I'd say you still have a couple weeks to go.

look like a few mmore weeks to me too just relax and the plants will tell you watch the hairs turn a different color, watch the fanleaves turn yellow and fall off startting towards the bottom, also like i said wait till she really doesnt want any water. i know its hard to wait becuase you want to harvest but relax and wait she looks real yummy and will only get better with age

Not to say you can't pinch a small bud and get yourself a taste. I often do that, especially if it's something I've never grown before.
