Ok so I am a total noob to autos. I am working on MAXIGOM right now and it is going really well but I am confused at when to switch from Grow to Bloom. I am starting to see white pistols at the stem. Also, do I do a flush between Grow and Bloom as I would with my photos and if so how for how long?
Sorry if the questions are a little dumb but you don't know if you don't ask :hump:

Welcome to the forum :)

I can't comment on when to switch since I use one kind of fert till the end usually, but for flushing in between I would do it, I flush at least once a month, always good to be on the safe side :)

Cheers Canadianbudz,

How many feeding do you flush for? I guess I should say that I am using Advanced Nutrients sensi A & B with hydroton as my medium. In an ebb and flow system.

You should feed grow nutes till about week 5 or 6 or until vertical growth stops and it won't hurt me to flush inbetween but not necessary

Thanks bseals.

I can't belive how fast and how helpful this site is! You guys rock and so does this site!

I use soil, but before I switched to organic, I fed once a week, so when I flushed I did it about 3-4 days after I fed than waited till the next feed date to feed again, I only did hydro once so I'd wait for someone more experienced in that area to chime in, I don't want to lead you in the wrong direction, do you have any pictures of your plants though? I'm curious to see them :)

Alrighty! You asked and I shall provide! These are the MAXIGOM by Grassomatic.
Germination date: Dec 27/11 under floresent and germinated in rockwool. I put them under 400mh after the first week, and have now bumped them up to 1000hps aprox 4 days ago these plants are so fast my head is spinning

The first pic was taken on the day 14 and the second pic was taken day 24

Very nice looking :)

Hope to see updates on them till they are harvested and you can give a smoke report on them :smokebuds:

If you are growing in soil do what Bseals says... Use the grow along with the bloom until vertical growth stops. Since I grow different strains at once, vertical growth varies on when it stops so just watch your plants for best judgement on that. Then just Bloom and desired additives until final flush. Now if you are growing organically you can get away without flushing and still have white ash, burning even bud that tastes good. I still flush at least the last week if not last two weeks. Also to agree with Bseals you can flush in between changing nutes in your mix or you don't have to. I feed, water, feed, water, etc. Also, remember to mix your nutes one at a time if you do them all together in one mix. For example, add Grow to water. Shake it up, add Bloom, shake it up, etc... just not all at once before shaking it up in between.

Hope this helps! Best of luck in all your grows! :smokebuds:
