Hello to all...:tiphat:

My Friend and me are doing an autogrow. We got 3 Critical Jack Auto, 2 Sensi Auto Skunk and also we got an Automix from "Earth Seeds" which was a Bonus Seed Pack, reg. Autos but we dont know whick Sorts are in there...also my english is not that perfect but I guess it will work...

OK. We germed all the plants 23 days ago, and we got 3 males and 1 female from the auto mix. The male was the strongest plant so far, followed by the 1 female what got a lot of indika atributes. All seems to be "bonsai" hemp plants, they dont get real big, around 10-15 cm now , all other plants are much bigger...

It is not my first grow, but it will be the first time that i can pollinate autos and so i want to ask, when do i have to do that. The one male i wanna use as "Father" allready got "Pollensacks (???) " on it, big ones but they are not open now, the plant will need a few more days (weeks), i guess. I mean, when do i have to pollinate the female. I tried this pollinating first time when i did my last grow, but i pollinated to late, so the seeds couldnt get ripe, only harvested green seeds...

We got a tent with equipment (Filter, Fan, 400 Watt HPS) and so i put the males into bathroom, light them there with cfl light...hope I wont pollinate my fems in the tent...
AHJA...CAN I ALSO POLLINATE MY OTHER AUTOFEMS (heard that wont work, but i dont know why)
I mean Critical JAck Autofem x unknown reg. Auto ??? I heard this will produce a lot of Herma(phrodites)...

Would be nice if i could get some Infos about that or links in english or german where i can read good information about pollinating hemp plants...
Thanks !
Clay...

Hmm, no answers...OK maybe i made myself not clear enough, I mean in which week of budding I have to pollinate my female Plant to get the seeds ripe?...answer would be nice...
Greetings, Clay

I've read that it takes about 30 days for the seeds to mature so plan accordingly.

Interesting question.

I'm running a breeding project at the moment myself and plan to pollinate 3 weeks after they are in flowering. Not sure whether that's right but that's how i plan to do it. Also plan to let the plant run for as long as it needs to, in order to maximize viable seeds.

I'm pretty sure B0b or someone with autoflowering breeding experience can assist you.

I also pollinated one branch of current plant. After googling I got the impression as soon as there are white hairs in buds. Due the holidays I have to harvest in 2 weeks hoping they'll be ripe enough, but if you don't have time limitations wait as long as you can.

sorry for the lack of replies

the reason i havent stepped in is my head hurts bad the last few days and the longer i look at my monitor the worse it gets , to the point everything blurs on me , and because the answers have been posted many times so i figured you would safely find the info you were after

you can pollinate as soon as you see pistils or as late as possible leaving 6 weeks for the seeds to mature

no idea why you think you will get hermies , unless your using crap seeds from a crap breeder and they are hermie prone to begin with ?

peace

Sorry I missed your post, fems breed just fine. You can start examining your plants seeds while there maturing at week 4 but some seeds need upto 6 weeks to mature.

Keep asking questions we have the answers. There are no stupid questions only stupid answers form ignorant people.

Hey B0b,

So does that mean for an autoflower we can pollinate as late as 6 weeks and leave it to mature for as long as it needs to? That's awesome.

it means you want to have 6 weeks remaining in the plants life or as close to that as possible

peace
