It is a thaipan in straight roots organic potting soil. Has been very dark green for its whole life. I haven't given it any nutes just distilled water. Give some subculture m about 5 dAys ago. Started with just a few crispy edges, eventually taking the Leaf tips. The 2 biggest leaves rolled up(tacoed). The top of the plant started to roll under yesterday. I have PH'd nothing.

check the ph of your water the distilled water i get is always around 8 ph

Just looked at your soil mix, it does look hot specially for seedlings. Looks nute burned to me.

is that the only 1 doing that way ?
Only one I have in straight roots. Tried for 2 but didn't happen. This is just a little soil test.

I really don't want to have to ph anything. I wouldn't think that D water would have enough ass to change anything as far as PH.

yeah. I read the same stuff. A lot of conflicting info out there for sure. I knew one way to find out for sure. Looks lik a transplant in the near future.

I would say that roots organic is too hot for a seedling. I Use Sunshine#4, as the soil in my starter cups, and then Tier into FFOF. But I am now about to try Roots Organic for the first time, and will treat it the same as FFOF.

I use Roots Organic and no problems with my current seedlings. 10 days old and going strong. Is that strain particulary sensitive to nutes? My two week old plants from my last grow were transplanted into Roots Organic, and took off without issues.

Figured as much. I have 3/4 bag of ffof, 2 bags of roots, 3 bags of just right extra, 1 bale sunshine mix #1, 4 small bags verm, 1 huge bag of perlite, 3 bags of wiggle worm EWC , 2 blocks of coco gro, and a small bag of anchient forest. Plan on mixing it all together one day recycling and adding compost and amendments as need. Also starting some compost. Well actually leaf mold till I can get some greens on them

It is thaipan. So I'm thinking maybe??????????????
What water dO you use?
Sorry so short. At work.

Both times I am growing the same strains, Onyx and Mi5. So it could be that? I have mine in Roots Organic with extra perlite and lime mixed in. When I went into my hydro shop they had three bags of different Roots. That confused me because there was only 2 online. The kind that the worker attempted to sell to me was higher in nitrogen and more similar to FFOF. I got the regular potting soil. Maybe you have a hotter variety of Roots? I know some strains are able to withstain higher nutes/hotter soils.
