I am new to autos and was wondering what the outcome of my scenario will be. If I was to buy a pack of non fem seeds and grow them all together leave the males along and let all the females go to seed would the seeds be autos? Would they keep the potency/yield of the parents? Any help would be great. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Yes, if both the males and females are autos, the resulting seeds will all be autos. They should be just as good as the parents as far as yield and potency are concerned. Bear in mind, that one pollinated female plant can easily yield 1,500 - 2,000 seeds. I'd recommend that you move the males to a separate area when they show sex, collect pollen from them and use it to selectively pollinate a branch or two on a couple plants rather than pollinating them all. You will still get plenty of seeds along with a lot of good sensi bud.

One more question.

Thanks for the help Muddy. One more question. How long will the seeds last and what is the best way for me to store them?

Let them dry out good, about 3-4 weeks, then put them in the refrigerator. They should be good for at least 3 years, although the germination rate may fall a little as they get older. I've successfully germinated some as old as 5 years, others have gone even longer.

I can do some pretty stupid things = need I say if you are not going to store them in the fridge or if your wife kicks you out of her fridge and you have to put them into another spot make sure to use a pill bottle or something equally mouse proof or you will be following my path which is really bbbbaaaadddd and very stupid. A little advice especially when your seeds are older. Freeze your older seeds for a week then take them out of the freezer and soak them in water for 12 hours and then put them either in a wet paper towel or directly into some other medium where they can be kept warm not hot. I like a heating pad kept on low. If you go for the wet paper towel. watch for the tap root to bust out of the seed and then plant them into your chosen media. My favorite is Jiffy pucks cause I grow in a bubbly pool so I can't use soil or pro mix or it would be a mess in my pool.

most likely however its sucess will depend on how stable the strain you are working with they should have some that are like the autos you bought and there is a good chance youll find diffrent phenotypes from
their other genetic make up
