What is wrong with my plants, or is this normal? They are 1 day away from being 6 weeks old, been flowering for about 2 weeks, or forming the flowers anyway...They are 2 blueberry x big devils, and 2 critical x northern lights autoflower plants. I use a 1000 watt mars hydro for light, in a 2x2 tent, with a co2 bucket, and a fan to circulate the air, and a carbon filter for the air exchanger/vent. I use cal/mag, grow, flower and bud nutes at half of half the recommended dilution/dose, I water with spring water ph lowered to 6 after nutes mixed in...my soil is either ocean forest, or coco loco.. This morning, they looked all sad and bottom fan leaves are droopy yellow, well...look at the pics....knowledgeable help would be greatly appreciated...this is my first grow ever.

@Cvanworth:welcome: Welcome to AFN :welcome:Here is a little bit longer form and I will move this to the infirmary. I don't see anything critical maybe too much water but fill out the form as best you can. :welcome:.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics! Turn off the grow lights.

Problem:lower, bottom fan leaves, yellowing, drooping, dying off...today is 1st day to notice it.

Medium/grow method: soil, 1 plant is in ocean forest by FF, and the other is in coco loco.

Feed: and supplements used:grow stage fish fert 5-4-2 bloom stage fish and kelp 2-5-1 and bud stage 0-0-5 kelp concentrate fert. sensi cal 4-0-0 cal mag sup. I use 1 drop of the grow two drops of the bloom, 2 drops of the bud and 2 drops of the sensi cal per gallon, significantly less than the recommended dilution per gal, as I am growing auto flowers

water source: Spring water low ppm, lowered ph to 5.5-6 after mixing in nutes.

PH in the root zone: 6.5 -7, soil has maintained that range straight out of the bag.

Strain/age: blueberry X Big devil auto femenized and Critical x northern lights autoflower, all same age, exactly 6 weeks old, has had bud/flower growth for app 2 weeks now.

light used: Mars TS-1000 led full spec on 18 off 6 light cycle.

Climate: tent, RH 51% Temp 85-90 F.

Additional info: 3 gallon fabric pots, I figure the soil provides nutes, so I use a highly diluted mix of nutes per gallon of water. I have a co2 bucket and fan with vent air exchanger running at med-low speed, so as not to pull the co2 out as the bucket produces it. The plants have been producing a ton of flowers, and I wondered if it is normal for bottom/lower fan leaves to yellow, wilt, and die off as the plant begins flowering and using the energy. I also wondered if I was under watering...I don't tend to overly water the plants. My lights are about 18 inches above the top of the highest growth...I also wondered of these leaves are simply getting way less light with the growth on the top beginning to canvas the bottoms....I did a little bit of LST before they started flowering... again, they are 6 weeks old, and have been growing the bud/flowers for about 2 weeks now.

here is template for the infirmary. you can fill it out and post it in the infirmary section of the website if you don't get any help here
i don't know much but droop can be from over watering. they can also droop before lights out and after they come back on
Thank you! Your a scholar and a gentleman!

I will definitely let someone else chime in as I am a hydro grower, and know very little of soil. But the over view pic you took, they all look like healthy girls. The average life for a leaf is 20-60 days, so it I wouldn't be too concerned if some of the older (lower) leafs begin to yellow and fall off.

The leaf tips look like nutrient burn (too much nutes) flush your plant with plain ph'd water. You shouldn't need to go over 500 ppm for nutes on an autoflower

The more homework I do, the more it looks like Nitrogen defficiency...lower leaves yellowing, getting limp and curling up before dying and falling off...I have done a plain ph'd water flush on 3, and mixed a batch of grow stage (high nitrogen) nute water to 1 of the plants...to see what happens...hopefully, I can get a better bearing on things with the results tomorrow morning...It makes sense, considering, I knew my soil had nutes already, so I have been giving highly diluted nutes since week 4...and in doing so, I put less than half the recommended dosage from the nute instructions, and even less of the grow stage nutes...These are autoflower, so it stands to reason that they are still vegging whilst the flowering process is underway...this is my assumption anyhow...I am a newby who did a year of homework before attempting my grow.

Yeah that's just what it looked like to me. Now knowing more info I can tell you that yellowing from the bottom is nitrogen deficiency. That was my 2nd guess by the lil bit of yellowing there but at the same time it looked like nute burn cuz the tip looked burnt. But I agree with you if u been lightly feeding you shudnt have nute burn. I'm guessing its nitrogen too then. Just make a batch of nutes at 3/4 strength instead of half strength and feed it.

There getting bigger and more established. So they can take stronger nutes now and will drink more than when they were younger.

It looks like the Nitrogen nute did the plant well, so I upped the nutes today, including the nitrogen nutes for my entire regiment....it seems I have a little room for more nutes and the pistil and calyx growth is happening fast and furiously! I will watch and see the results of todays plant tampering lol..if they show no adverse affects, I will stick with the formula. I appreciate the help here! Looking for nute burn led me to nitro def.
