New Grower What is the trick to getting better smell and taste?

The room smells a little.. Ordered a new Phresh filter to take care of that. This Phat filter did great for about a year. The box smells dank.. It smells like a pine forest to me. But yeah, it's stanky.

That is what I hear about Orgnanics. I like the DWC right now, but I haven't ruled out doing an organic grow in the future.

Well I "like" a sativa high, but I won't be getting one with this strain, so I have decided to try to get the best smell/taste I can this time.

I am hoping to pick up some sativa beans for the next run. I gotta get one more in before summer, though, so if I don't end up getting to order some, I will probably grow one of the NL I still have. It is too hot in the garage for summer growing. I have my eye on that Mephisto sale this weekend, but I'm not sure if I can afford it. I have also been considering "Think Big" or "Think Different" for my next buy. Among a few others.

I know all about clear vs cloudy vs amber, so I don't need that education. I figure they will go another week maybe two. I just wondered what they looked like to you guys. I'm watching the trichs and will probably harvest around 20% amber this time. I have been trying to chop at the first sign of amber. I think it has been too early. I am going to give this one a bit and see if the odor profile changes.

The CFLS are just for that extra kick. My main lighting now is 2 300w old style MarsHydro panels. They are the old style, but they have the 5w chips instead of the 3ws

...and the buds had lost a LOT of aroma, and still haven't got it back fully after a 6 week cure.

I wouldn't give up yet. My 24 Carat basically smelled like old hay after six weeks. At nine weeks it decided it was marijuana instead and now is a real stinkfest. Some buds just take awhile I guess.

Buds are foxtailing now.. I just added floralicious plus, more liquid koolbloom, and more Flora Nectar to my final res water, on top of the usual doses I have been giving. They will drink that and a top up in 3-4 days. Then I will move to the flush. I am hoping that pumping them full of sugar, vitamins, and bloom accelerator will increase the terps. I am pumping that stuff HARD in this last feed.
