Hmm this is my first post here in this section. I got shocked by what I saw today after work. Happend on 8 hours..

I have 3 auto grows with the same soil and nutrient at the same PH and never saw this..

Strain: EasyRyder Age: 31 Days

I saw that this plant had a brown spot on the leaf after about 15 days or so..

Thats look like mg deficiency to me. I have been using a 10 L bucket to feed all my plants with a PH 6.5 solution of Sensi grow A + B and some cal/mg.

I did a flush with about 10-15 l of water.. The PH moved up from PH 5.4 to PH 5.6 - 5.9 (I trust my Ph-80 so I guess PH5.6)

run off:

I gave her a full strenght dose of Sensi grow A + B, B52 and cal/mg @ PH 8.5 and put her back...

But thats not really the question.. My other 8 plants looks like they are real healthy on steroids. How is it possible that just this plants fucks?

Growing in soil..

+rep for good help!

Time to smoke again... and forget this..

Hey Zaq how much Cal/mag are you using each feeding because I am dealing with the same issue. My best guess is it toxicity instead of deficiency bro. The sensi grow has a considerable amount of Cal/mag in it. As soon as I bumped my Cal/mag to 5 ml it happened and it ravages a plant if you don't get it out of the soil. The funny thing is that only 3 of the 11 plants I fed that strength too were effected as well but they went in stages. The reason I think the other plants of mine weren't effected the same is because of how much Cal/mag the uptake as a strain:2cents:

You have a ph of 5.8 in soil? That's hydro ph. You want to be somewhere around 6.4-6.5. If I had to guess, I'd say that's your problem.

Yes could be but I havnt been feeding her alot. I gave the first dose of 1/4 strenght Sensi Grow A+B and B52 5 days ago. Before that CANNA Rhizotonic @ PH 6.5.

As I said. My other plants growing just fine..

I have been feeding all plants from the same water supply. I was schoked that only 1 plant behave like this.

Could also be your ph meter. I had one of those little yellow bricks from china and it led me astray more than helped. Do you have a friend with a ph meter so you can compare? They may be growing fine now, but lockout could be happening behind your back. 5.anything really is too low for soil.

That plant could just be your canary, singing the warning before the others start reacting.

I have two PH pens. One "Yellow china" and a brand new HM Digital PH-80 pH Hydro Tester just calibrated before I shot that picture showing the ph..

check on pic above.

Yes might be, but how can the soil drop that much in PH so fast?

I don't think it's a lock-out because AN products are chelated (check on the back label, unless that bottle is very old). Chelation is a natural binding process of nutrients with acids present in soils that augments the range of intake from somewhere around pH 5 to 8,5.

I do agree with the Overfeed. Your leafs are somewhat dark green. Root boosters have alot of N (once again, check the back label). What dosage were you giving of rizo?

AN uses a good mix of different N (nitrates, ammonia and urea). Sensi has nitrates and urea and cal/mag has nitrates only. They differ on the time the plant takes to absorb them. Nitrates are readily absorbed and urea needs to break down into ammonia and then into nitrates. The thing with urea is it lowers the soil pH, when the plants start using it.

Cal/mag is only for people who don't use Sensi grow or bloom.

I hope this helps

Hugo I agree with your entire statement except for the part about Cal/mag not being needed with sensi grow or bloom. First of all if you are using ph perfect then you need you base starting ppm from 125-150 ppm for the nutes to hold ph like they are supposed to. I use distilled water with no ppm so I add 2.5 ml to get me in the starting range for the nutes to work properly. However like I said if you exceed that you are not only messing up the nutes for holding ph properly but the soil will go toxic in a heartbeat if the particular strain isn't a Cal/mag pig!

It's waht says on the cal/mag bottle. :) it's not my experience because I use other stuff :)

Even so, AN deserves all my respect. They seem to be running a pretty tight ship!

I won't say Mg def because there ain't any discolouring, in fact it's quite the opposite. I'd give her only water for my next feeds.
