What genetics to start with (On the Auto side)

Hello AF network!

A nice site you have here. And alot of nice info around here. Looks like the interest for AF is rising. I did grow alot of LR2 when they first come out. And leaved the auto genetics after that.

Annyway I got the interest in AF after rading a post from Mitch Mephisto genetics. Really nice adventure and inspiring!

I have some nice Mother plants in the stock here I would love to try turn into Auto.
Atleast do the F1,F2 and f3 to 100% auto. And maby do the F4 also depending on how fun the project turn out?

What I need to know is where should I get my auto genetics from? I already have the photo plant ready. I think those new super auto strains with 15%thc + auto plant would be an verry good starting point? But is it annywhere to get regular seeds? I could use own photo males to fem autos? Would the F1 out of that turn hermies/easy stressed plant? Or maby depends on genetics? What is my best option here?

I have little exp about the AF seed marked. Is is annyone who could help me out?
I have some nice setup redy to o for this project. And I thinking trying to share a little of it here with you aswell.

The best You can or better said the ussually way to do a Auto x Photo cross is to use the Automatic Part as Father. Its hard to get some regular Autos out there. I think You need to link up with a kind Breeder who offers You some. There maybee somewhere out there on the Market still some Lowrider Regs stock left or try to look via Seedfinder maybee youll find a Brand that sells regular Autos.

Over here i did some Breeding with Auto x Photo(thread is here in the section Medics auto breeding Journey). And the f1 so far are stable and pretty Unique not much pheno variations but they Photo Parents used were all pre selected Phenotypes of some Cup winner Strains. What stands out is that the F1 of Auto x Photo flower in no time. The longest i had here needed 56 Days from flip to Bud. Currently startig the runs to make f2 and from 1 strain f3 so letz see what Autoflowers in the ones that get bred to f3.

If you dialed everything in Breeding is mad Fun especially when the first few runs bring you some Keepers. But always keep in mind Pre Selection is everything. Do not wild pollinate every Lady that comes out in your f1 generation... rather to a smoketest run and flower some out in the first run to see whats worth to go on. Then you will have a lot of fun breeding Your own Strains.

k i see. But the auto gene will get transportet to F2 even If I use a photo strain as the father? It could be really easy to gief some pollen to the fem hight thc% genetics. ANd if the genetics are good I coud not understand a problem with it?
If the genetics are bad I will probaly get a more hermi senestive strains out of it?

I also have found regular autoes. Some Disel ryder mix. ((Ghaze x c99) x Ghazediesel, C99 x Ghazediesel, Ghazediesel x Ghazediesel, Blackdragon x Ghazediesel, and White Jem x Ghazediesel) Not sure about the Thc% there? And I will also get some Iranien Auto bx to play with. I also have 2 other gen pols to get out the auto. So that is not what I worry about.

I just want to make those autoes the best possible. And by starting with HIGH thc autoes I belive the road to F3 full auto will be even better/higher thc than if I start out with autogene with 6-8%?
But I have no idea about the % on Iranien auto and the diesel ryder mix?
Maby that is already a good place to start find a good male?

Good Question thats why i said selection is the A n O when it comes to breeding. I had the honor to get blessed with a few Mephisto Regulars to Auto our keepers here. The Male which got used so far was a very nice Chemdogging Male which had real characteristics of a real Og Kush. Throwing out the 3 fingered leafes everywhere. He was a powerhouse and is already sadly missed here. Sure low percentage Autos will or may down the Thc Profile, for that you want to do a test run and select the strogest phenos(or whatever you desire to get out in the end Generation). For me its Terpne/Resin Profile aswell as creating Unique Plants.

Diesel Ryder sounds like a good Base some real good Autos out there got bred with Afgahn Kush Ryder for example. I always felt the lowgrade ones were the ones with the Lowryder 1 and 2 Genes in too pure Form in them.

I have accidentially made a Auto x Photo Cross where the Photo was the Dad but due to the Fact it was accidently i didnt go on with the Outcome. Still got the Beans of it chillin in the Fridge.

I just order:
Sudden Flower Regular seed from Earth seeds. Not a bad word about those genetics.
Tao Matic - Regular seed. 15-20% thc. from TOP TAO.
Haze Auto Tao - Regular seeds. 15-20% thc also TOP TAO

Now I will get alot of different start points. The Haze auto was just almost to good since I am thinking of make my own Orginal Haze Auto.

The male you talk about sounds fantastic! Would be awsomeness with reg Mephisto genes. Never testet them becouse of only fem atm. But after reading about them I really wanna test them out in the futur!
The Afgahn kush ryder need to be googled. Nice you told me.

Yes I saw alot of autoes there. But The super autoes was only fem?

I will end up trying 11 different autoes. And I will compare them, make backupseeds and also make alot of F1 with photo strains. And after smoked/tested all phenoes/strains I can descide what to really work with. I don`t know anny of the auto genetics so exp need to be gained

Also saw your thread. Nice and frosty, looks like some powerfull plants so far!

Well the Super Autos have nothing to do with Super High Potency. For myself i would go with the Sharkbite Regs. I mean Great White Shark is a good old Stable genetic belonging to the White Widow Family. Potent mostly Indica Hybrid. She or better said He as Youre searching for a Male would defo do the Job if ya aim Potency. Wouldnt go with that Many Autos i think You know the old Saying too many Chefs ruin the Dinner. I can tell you the more Projects or Crosses to select from the more Work and the easier you loose track on a good Project. I would go with 1 or 2 Males and Dust every Keeper with them, so not that much variations to test.

Why I am so eager after the super autoes is becouse of the bigger sized plants. And it can fit my outdoor latitude perfect. I can also go for other methodes. Dubble run and stuff with fast plants. But I really like big plants. Big finnishing plants is what I like! 1.5 meter + / - size.

What you say about keep project down to 1-2 males I like. It`s just so damn hard to select when you suddenly realise you have alot of good genetics to choose. About potency. How easy is it increse it? Or the opposite? From 1 generation? Maby problematic to know the answear? So manny factor. I can grow out alot of strains/plants. Smokereport them.
