I know in the f2 and folowing generations the heterozygous traits start to appear which breeders can select and self or back cross to the parents... but what exactly does an f1 hybrid look like?

Is it simply just 50% from each parent?

-I.E. 15% CBD strain crossed with 15% thc will produce 50/50 thc/cbd ratio of around 7.5% thc and cbd?
-I.E. a short indica strain crossed with a tall sativa strain will produce a plant medium size?
-I.E. a ducksfoot plant crossed with normal leaf plant will produce something in between the two leaf morphologies?

From wat I've seen as far as traits go is the mother is most dominant in the cross weather f1 f2 ect now hybrid vigor is by my understanding after combining genetics you get a bit of a yield/size ect improvement over either parental line or for example 2 different strains crossed those offspring have a thc content of 20% when the parents top out @ 15% so some traits like growth u can see but others like the cbd terpene and flavonoids ect hope this helps I will offer any info I can I've been playing around with some stuff and love to share my experience on here in our community.
