Hi all I've woke up today and 2 of my fan leaves seem to be bending like they are twisting? What causes this? Many thanks.

It Could be an early calcium deficiency signal.

@Mr ganjamoto would cite leaf twist as being a sign from "the calmag fairy"

Canna.ca say "Beginning calcium issues show a distortion in the growth of the older leaves which will twist and curl in most plants. An advanced state of calcium deficiency is recognized by the occurrence of yellow/brown spots, which are often surrounded by a sharp brown outlined edge"

Just my 2 bobs worth! ^_^

I have bio bizz grow, bloom and top max, you think I should start feeding her grow or is it strictly calcium

It could just also be moving for light ... saying that, too much N will typically manifest itself causing dark green leaves that claw down. Too much N can have a negative effect on calcium takeup. I can find a reference for that (i think). Adding grow would add N

The plant looks healthy other than a tiny leaf twist. If it were mine, i'd feed a tiny bit of calmag to it, just to be sure.

Here's my reference regarding N having a negative effect on Ca (from the aptus bible)

A common nutrient problem in indoor gardening is Calcium deficiency. This is because
Calcium is immobile, meaning it doesn’t naturally move into and throughout plant
tissue. Also, Calcium is pushed away by other minerals that are often added in large
quantities, such as Nitrogen (as Nitrates) and Potassium.

I'm not a science type .. i've just been reading some science recently.

Only problem is I have no cal mag, I recently raised the light to stop my leaves taco'ing and it has helped not sure if it's looking for the light... Also I switched to 20/4 instead of 24/0 maybe it's adjusting to the change I'm not sure but thank you for your help

I think you need to smoke a doob and chill out. I'd never adjust a whole plant because of a left or two... Looks like air circulation problem anyway....

You're welcome! ^_^

I'd pop it on your shopping list for either this grow or the next.
Seems like it's an important buiding block in the sequence for all other nutes and one of the most commonly found issues in the infirmary.

Could well be that too!! :D .. I bet you $3 that you use calmag too though!! ^_^
