I ask this qustion to me manny times but i dont know why so many Loving Autoflower Strains. Outdoor of course Autos are the Best but why Indoor Growing when i can Switch the Light by Photoperiod Strains when ever i want to 12/12...

Thanks

I won't write a book as I could... I do it because lights are always on same schedule so I can have seedlings and flower in 1 tent and have no issues. ;). Light's always the same for me 20hrs on 4hrs off.

Interseting!!! So i can Put maybe 2-3 Autoflowers in my Tent and maybe 5 Weeks later another 2-3 Seedlings :D thats Cool and again and again Harvesting every 5 Weeks ore so HEHE

for me its mostly because i like variety.i have a small cupboard i can plant an auto every 4 weeks and harvest an auto every 4 weeks,be smoking something different every 4 weeks.:baked:
if its not an auto fem im not interested.:pighug:

I chose Autoflowers indoors because;
  • I'm a novice grower, and wanted to limit the number of ways I could fuck it up.
  • I'm impatient - Autoflowers are quicker.
  • I'm a control freak - Autoflowers give me the opportunity to play God and have total control over the growing environment - a super power that Mother Nature would never relinquish to me. I asked.
  • I'm lazy and can't be assed nursing a photoperiod over the line.
  • Ultimately I want to move to a one tent perpetual grow, which Autoflowers make possible. Can't do it with photoperiods.
  • Growing indoor is decriminalised here - outdoor growing isn't.

A friend I am teaching how to grow is using a 1000W HPS. The benefit for him is he can start 2 plants every 3 weeks and harvest 2 plants every 3 weeks. If he averages only 2 ounces a plant he has 1/4 LB every 3 weeks . He will be drying for about 1 week and curing for about 2 weeks. When his buds are ready to smoke he will harvest 2 plants and plant 2 more. He is doing this in a room with no grow tent and has to leave the light on for 24 hours as he has no way of making the room dark enough for a proper dark period. The strain he is working with dose not produce as much as the strain I am currently working with. For me the benefit is time and space. I am growing plants that produce 2 to 3 ounces on a plant that's about 24" wide and tall and only take around 70 days. The strain my friend is growing takes 80 days from seed. My space dose not allow me to make good use of a photo plant. I don't want to take 4 months to produce 2 plants that will give me 1/4 LB when I can do almost that in a little over half the time. My last auto I did was almost 3 ounces and as I get better at it I think my yields will go up. I think I can get up to 4 ounces a plant once I get every thing dialed in. The way I grow it is also convenient too because I grow in a veg mix and transplant in to a larger pot filled with a bloom mix. My veg mix only has to hold me over for about 30 days at most and the bloom mix only has to feed for another 40 days.

i have a 60cm x 60cm x160cm Box with a 2 x 60 Watt CXB Panel how much Autos are Perfekt and how Big Pots are the Best for that Area? Maybe 2 x 15 Liter Airpots and every 5 Weeks 2 New Seedslings?

Have a look at @TaNg 's Journals ... he does a perpetual grow, with 2 + 2 ... 40 days apart [from memory].
Again from memory, I think his is a 1.2 x 1.2 tent, using 15 litre Airpots ... so your 0.6 x 0.6 might be a bit tight.

I could be talking out my ass too ... best thing is to head over to his Journals and check them out.
