Problem: sprayed my plant with some insect repellant yesterday and then the leaves all of a sudden started curling up at the edges and the tips started drying out not sure if it's the spray but it happened last time at week 2 with my other plants.
-Medium/grow method: Westland potting soil and Westland & John innes compost.
-Feed and supplements used: Nothing but 6.2 pH water.
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-? Bottled water
-Strain and age: Blue Treacle, 2 weeks.
-Climate: Day time 24-27 Celsius and night 19 Celsius both around 65-70 rh.
- Light used: Hps 250w 18 inches.
-Additional info: over night this happened. Happened on my last plants but this time round I've been really sensible with watering and haven't given any nutes yet.

Thanks for the response mate sometimes 2 days after posting you don't gear anything and things have gotten so much worse! I agree I should of watered it down, I'll be using neem from now on I think. It must be the spray cause it happened right after I used it.

Just FYI. I dont know how far things have come with the research, but last I read was neem has been linked with some health issues. I have stopped using it myself. I resort now to preditory insects to deal with any infestations.

Yes, tell us what you are using. I don't recall there being any commercial "insect repellent" (vs. insect killing or sickening agents) being used on our plants. If this was a canned aerosol spray, it likely contains solvents that could affect the plant.

What kind of pest are you dealing with? What was the spray that you used?

I'm going to sound really stupid now cause I actually just sprayed it as a precautionary measure... Bare in mind I was baked of my nut when I don't this... Never again. The spray does say on the back to not spray seedlings or young plants so basically I'm judt a retard. The spray is called Bug Clear Ultra 2 spray bottle. Their starting to recover I think, they do look stressed from it though.
