What's up all?
Not sure who remembers me cause it's been awhile since I've posted on here.
I've been very busy taking care of my son who has Ewings Sarcoma Cancer.
I made a post on here about it last year about it.
Well he got through his treatment and all along the way he was showing great signs he was going to beat it.
He finished his 10-11 month treatment about a month or so ago and we were going to go for Scans this past monday to see where we stood.
Well before that was able to happen he got sick, so we took him to the ER and they told us he had pneumonia.
So we ended up coming up to the Big City and was admitted into the Cancer ward (which we have spent ALOT of time at).
Well the next day they did a CT scan on him and I was taken to a small room so the Dr. could talk to me. Right then I knew it wasn't good.
Well he pretty much told me it wasn't pneumonia, but his cancer that has come back. And then he told me since it came back after his treatment was done that they can't cure him. His one lung keeps filling with fluids because of the Cancer, even if they drain it it feels back up, and he's having a really hard time breathing because of it.
I was told if they don't do anything he has days to weeks left. If they try a different chemo treatment it could slow it down and give him months instead, but it only works a third of the time.
They are actually getting Ready to take him to the ICU as I type this. My wife is with him now and I'm taking care of my other 2 kids a few blocks away from hospital just in case.
I don't know if it's too late, but we're trying to get some money together and make a drive to WA or CO and get some Cannabis Oil.
We feel like we have to try until the end. If we don't we wouldn't be good parents.
But like I said....we just hope it's not too late.
Well I just wanted to keep you guys updated on here because I recieved alot of caring comments when I first posted this, so I know some of you care and would probably like to know what's been going on. If not, that's fine too.
Makes me wish we tried this sooner, but with it being illegal here and us being poor we were hoping that the Chemo would work and it seemed like it was. He was always showing great responses to the chemo.
Well it's late and I'm exhausted as I haven't slept much these past few days, so I will end it here.
I want to thank a couple guys from before that helped out (you know who you are) and want to thank everyone that has prayed and sent good vibes our way.......I wish that would've been enough.
