Im growing alot of plants in soil. When im adding nuts in the water im trying to aim for 6.4-6.7 PH in the suloution going into the pot.

I did measure some run off and it landed about 6.5ish.

On my soil bag it says PH about 6.

Temp at 24 celcius. / 75 Farenheit.

I did gave shit about this problem on my last grow and ended up with some quality buds. I head from people that I had the best bud this side of the town.

After reading Jorge Cervantes book

Deficiency: Nitrogen is the most common nutrient deficiency. The symptoms include slow growth Lower leavs cannot produce clorophyll and become yellow. Between the vains while the wains remain green....... Steems and the leaves undersides can turn reddish-purpleut this can also be a sign of phosphour deficiancy...

The signs im having is yelloweing leaves and red steem on some of my plants. Is there any PH issue or to late for me to fixa? Im almost att week 7.

Lookout or maybe salt build up/Ph?

Okey pro's, what whould you do next?

Im growing in AD nuts with 2/4 dosage. Except for flower enhancer that I give 1/1.

If i miss something just ask.

I agree, the pH is a little high. The red stems could be genetics or a P deficiency. I would do as TBM suggested on the feeding and maybe give a little P boost. I like to keep some PK13.14 on hand just for situations like that. What is your lights off temp? Cold temps can also cause a P lockout.

I forgot to add. Im running Big Bud(PK boster) and Overdrive(Pk boster). I havnt added any cal/mg because im running tap water and from what i hear there is no reason. I will go pickup cal/mg tomorrow at the pharmacy.

If the soil is PH6 and im giving them PH6.5. How can I fuck up and make PH go high? Adding base nutrient will give a rocksolid PH at 6.2. I have to give some drops PH up to about 6.4-6.6..

Im giving everyother watering all my nuts at 1/2 strength so I dont burn them..

It seemes like im doing everyhing ritght on paper but not in real life zzzzz!

I guess I will try PH 6-6.3 next time.

Well, in the night i have about 18celcius.

The Big Bud and Overdrive should be giving you enough P. I think it might be your lights off temp. You might want to put them on a heat mat or add a small space heater to keep the temps up during lights off. If your roots are too cold that could be causing a lock out.

Just because the bag said it's ph of 6 doesn't mean that it is. I've tested straight Pro Mix right out of the bag and find it ranged between about 6.7 to 7 and they have excellent quality control. It's quite possible that the soil pH was off to start with, possibly a little higher than you think. I'd suggest giving them the 6.2 nutes without the pH up and see what your run off is.

I just checked the run off again. 6.5 and 6.6. Couldnt ask for a better PH. I guess its when the lights goes off and my room gets a bit colder. I will test tonight and see what temps I will have.

edit, without your run off tips. I do that the next time.

Enough is said i cannot contribute. I think myself Muddy and Buddah share the same view here. Thanks for asking me to get involved man and hope you get what you want. I'll stick by and watch how it turns out might learn something.

Im using tap water. I did get some Cal/Mg today but I dont know if I need it. I think i see some rusty marks on some leafs on other plants.. well. well..

Muddy, I had 16 Celcius last night light off. Cant causing this problem ey?

I thought my PH pen was broken but it cal. at 7.0 when i put it in the PH solution.

Hmm what next?

Good luck zaQ. Long time no see. Growing again! You must be still curing your last big crop.

You're pH is good so I'm still thinking it's the lights out temps. I'd still recommend picking up a small space heater. They aren't expensive, I got one here at WalMart for $18. A little cal/mag won't hurt.

I had a problem very much like this with my last 12/12 photo grow (restricted space) and it was over-nut. I also changed brands after that, as I was using an older brand ("Dutch Forest") and it seemed to help too. However, this could have just been my mind making me think it was helping, as I had changed a few variables there.
Well, thats my 2 cents
