So I am running Chemdogging from Mephisto. 2 plants in a single DWC.

About mid-flower, I notice this little side branch start stretching fast. The other buds were nearly fully formed, and it just had a little flower at the tip, right? Well it soon matched the height of the tallest bud and started kicking into overdrive. It is like it was just really ambitious and said "F$#@* THIS! I AM THE TOP!!!

I thought about cutting it off so it didn't rob the other buds, but I decided to see what it did. Well it now has the makings of a monster cola. But everything else is really close to harvest.

If I Harvest and leave it on the plant, do you think it will ripen up? Will it just ripen up when I do my flush? I am on the last heavy feed now, and in a few days, when it drinks the res dry, I will be switching to plain water.

Anyone ever dealt with this? What would you do? Here is a pic or two. It is the tallest one in the first pic. The second pic is just me showing off my grow. lol

Hey there, greenjeans...I envy you your harvest to come.

Nothing to lose by letting it grow after the chop. It's normal to chop the main cola and open up the lower bud sites to more light. They continue to ripen; no reason why that cola shouldn't.

Well it looks like it has lost it's energy. I think she is done putting on weight. Chop will be next weekend. I will probably let that bud go for a few days while the rest is drying, and use it for more moist buds to distribute among the jars. Sweat them out with it.

I have been out for over a month, although I have been picking at her for a couple of weeks already, so I am READY.. I am hoping to get 4 or 5 o's. Then it will be on to an Illuminauto!

Well, I do have time to lose. I don't grow in the summer anymore because my cab is in the garage and it is just too much of a battle when it hits 110 in there. So I need to get one more run in before the 100 degree temps hit!
