Looking to see if anyone has any good solutions for watering a soil based system while a go out of town for a few days? I know this has to be some what of a common problem for non hydro setups. I have done a search and havent found much info. Have been looking at the Claber 8053 Oasis drip watering system as a solution. Does anyone have any experience with this product?

Some suggestions I haven't tried them myself but maybe other members could chime in.
Suggestion 1: Those watering tubes (http://www.amazon.com/Aqua-Globes-Glass-Plant-Watering/dp/B0018KJWSW) Fill it up with water and stick it in to your soil
Suggestion 2: A bit more expensive a bucket/water pump/digital timer. Set it all up and see how long it takes for it to come out the other end in a small dribble
Suggestion 3: A 4 litre or what not jug of water. Drill/pierce a small hole at the very bottom and let it do it's thing
